Inspired by many different materials, "Upon Atlas" is the story of a post-apocalyptic world in which all modern technology has been replaced by magic. A war is being waged between the oppressive Kingdoms who wish to destroy the magic and the rebels who support it. In this age, an opportunistic corporation has risen to take advantage of the conflict. As "experiments" are conducted across Atlas, the citizens become even more fearful, and the continent begins to fall apart. A man called Gale ventures across Atlas in order to escape the torn continent while strange flying devices take to the air for the first time since the Before. And, as Atlas' final destruction nears, the continent itself begins to fight back. "Upon Atlas" is a completely original story with no ties to any AE games.
