It's time to look at the ED Faction section of CHG.
First, let's look at how they did it in the old forums. As far as I can remember, there were three sections: one for general faction discussion, one for recruitment, and one for "Looking for a Faction." I understand that the third one has been ruled out and I respect the decision, but we must now look at the other ones: General Faction Discussion and Faction Recruitment.
We have both those forums: General Faction Discussion and Faction Recruiting. Unfortunately, this setup doesn't seem to be working: you'll find that the General Faction Discussion is full of recruitment threads. There are two reasons for this: in the intended recruitment board, factions are lost among the DF and AQW clans; and General Faction Discussion allows for replies.
I think that the EpicDuel Faction board should be the faction recruitment board. They're completely separate from AQW and DF clans. The method of recruiting used in the old ED forums was successful. Ever since the introduction of this new system, faction activity in-game has gone down.
