Quite simply, you don't. He rarely checks the forum anyway. You'll have to find some other way of contacting him - Twitter and email are normally good, but he's a busy guy so don't count on a reply.

If a user's PM box is hidden, that person would be free from PM's and there will be no way that you can contact him in forums but also try Khimera's suggestions for contacting him via email, twitter, myspace, facebook. Hope you could! :D
