This is just a warning to EpicDuel staff and players: I personally think the more complaints visible on the front page of its forums is detrimental to the end conclusion here. Take one of my other browser communities for example, FunOrb. After a year of complaints related to 'Preferred updates' and 'Lack of moderators' and even 'Bugs/Glitches', the site is unofficially dated and terminated.

Staff: Acknowledge, follow-up, and take action on customer's or member's concerns. Such as responding to a rant, announcing an update, then making that update; ALL publicly.

Players: Avoid cynical or dejected jabbing and be competent about your topic. Feedback and support help more than anything here.

I'm sure that not one member of ED in the forums wants to chase away other players with their doom-ish, rhetorical speeches on ED as a whole. You follow the rules and regulations of the forums and understand the terms of service. Be a good forumer and look an aspect positively inclined for the good of all people here.

well the staff i think is doin a good job is just the players they think everything is suppose to happen when they start to complain. if so then there might as well be daily updates. one day u gonna get on ur class is like the best then they update because of ppl complaining and then ur class is more like a 2 dolla water gun. its not the staff its the players its like everyone wants to blame the staff for everything.

This game is backed and protected by Artix Entertainment, chances are it's not going out of business.

i think ED will end when AQ ends and they been goin for ten years and still goin so in ten more ears i can still see ED up and running will players keep playing this idk especially if they make a new game but i see the lvl cap hitting 40-50 in the future

True, I don't see any reason ever for AQ to end as it is a very leisurely, spare-time type of game. All businesses are financially susceptible to failure to lack of planning and inconsistency in the management. The other is marketing (questionable t-shirts).

and even if aq ends theres still DF MQ WF and AQW to fall back on and i still play them here and there,
and this leaves me to wonder... if aq had an mmorpg with real time battles...will ED have something kinda the same but maybe better

The gameplay would have to be much better (slightly more realistic and modern edge). Its just that the target audience is still going to be the same, same community after all. Still a fun thought to think about though.

yea i can see it to it might be sumthing like WoW in a way if they do the 3D thing and like if you had a character on ED u got to use them insted of a new person

I'm not sure if Artix Entertainment is 3D rendering compatible, so maybe more like AQW; but we really don't need 2 of those.

Also, do you mean keeping the same inventory and experience your player has?

yea thats what i mean and i also wish like u could get parts to make your own weapon cause then the game would have a bigger rpg element

Sorry to cut you off but we are getting off topic now.

We have to go back to communication issues as we do with people on the forums and the real issues people are bringing out of the game.

but anyway have u notice that most of the ppl on who quit/complain are the ppl who always get wrecked by higher lvls (like lvl 33 TLM) and ppl who think that their the best and when they start 2 lose game after game they come on here and complain

Ya, I think this forum should have a message that tells them before they post:

"If this is a rant, click here" and they are sent to a unique forum where people, as you mentioned, could complain.

That is a great idea, you should post in the forum suggestions. This would be a great place for people to get their ranting out.
