What feature(s) do you want most to be added to this game?
For me its:
1. Tournaments
2. 2v2 with chosen partners
3. Founder Step-Down

Retrain Revamp definitely. Was promised to be release with gamma haha what a joke.

But what I wan't most are those new consumable items. The "gernades" that can give your enemy intimidate, smoke screen, malfunction. Whatever happened to those little goodies?

 In order for this thread to be an actual discussion rather than just an ED Wishlist please don't only post fatures you'd like added to the game. Also explain things like why and how you think the adds would improve the game. How you plan to use the features. Whether the features might change gameplay or effect already existing features and if any problems might arise from them, etc.

If the thread just ends up being a list of things you want without discussion it may be locked or deleted. Also, do not go into details on personal ideas/suggestions you have for new features/adds to the game. Those belong in the ED Suggestions Forum.

OK . here is mine

1. Founder Step-Down
There are a lot of factions with a non-active leader. This would have to be with leaders permission and revocable if leaders became active again.


2. Retrain revamp
This one for me is a must. lol I HATE retraining. So anything that would make it easier and faster. :)


3. New npc bosses - with acheivment rewards
Would be nice. But I love the 2v1 Boss battles. So more bosses in the future .

Id like to see new new classes, not just the main 3 branches of the game. Warrior, rogue, and mage. And the tatical mercys, blood mages, and cyber hunters are just recreates of the old versions. Not very creative. Add classes like archers or swordmens (warriors whos skills require sword only instead of mercys who most skills require a hammer) even a summoning class pshhh idc i just wanna see something new.

just thought of one more but this one is a bit of a long shot. :)


4 Moveable stats
Example - before a fight stats could be swapped from similar item
ie - gun stat from gun stat, armour from armour. It would have to be the whole set of stats (including enhance)
If you swapped stats from an item the ones you have would automatically transfer to the other one.
Possible or may be just a dream:D

 my top three most awaited features are founder step down
Why: i have a faction on an old acount that i started and i would like my main to be leader and to bring it back to glory again (why so blue just chil)

second is retrain revamp
Why: mostly because i am entirely impatient i just would like it to go much faster just more or less a nice courtesy

my third feature i would like is to be able to choose 2v2 partner
why: i dont know many people in ed anymore due to small inactivity and people who quit so i would like to atleast fight along side one person whom i know



and for a last want would be a
party system which would lay way to 3v3 i think we need a battle mode that is slower and more strategy paced where you send your friends a party link (3 person parties) and then the leader is the only one who clicks 3v3 and then the whole party is set into battle together

i understand some people will say (the top players will ban together and kill everyone) well not true because if you party with people early on into the game you can creat a friendship and understand which can also bring about the new sense of community that we need

 Total Ignore: Right now ignoring only blanks out the Speech bubble, not the chat log. Spammers still spam the Chat logs up even WHEN you ignore them. Trolls will still troll, and will still be heard because the chat logs are still there.

Here is my top 5:


1- I would like to see Rank based shops.

Why ? There is no award or incintive to keep on playing the game once reach level cap and accomplished all missions.


2- Retrain revamp

Why? The current system is causing lag, time consuming ect..


3- Link 2vs2

Why? Too many unfairness in 2vs2 battles at the moment, players leaving when the teams are not to their advantage. I would love playing with friends instead of strangers.


4- Tournements

Why? Because they are fun.


5- My forum name to be changed back to DBag

Why? It was changed agaisnt my will. My name is not offensive and is harmless. That would be a great birthday present from Cinderella ( my b-day was august 3)

@Topic

1. retrain revamp
2. bike attack
3. new animations when u come into battle like sparks come out of the ground and a CH appears.
4. fix the calculations
5. CH's shadow arts to instead have +10% connect
6. a real war. where ppl jump in and fight
7. verified stuff for DL, guardian, SL
8. a playable iPhone version of epicduel
9. sound and music
10. PURE BALANCE IN THIS GAME!!!

 I want to encourage discussion of desired features, but I just want to point this out. There are few things that are commonly desired (beyond abstract concepts like "balance" and "more fun"- we all want those, lol), so I hope you understand my frustration when I'm trying to compile everyone's desires and try to figure out what would best benefit all.

 As many stated above, all those features should be implemented.

For myself, I have only one. Varium features that don't intertwine with pvp. I made a nice size list, and it will continue to evolve.


As we discussed in the previous forum, the community element is the driving force for this game to grow.

As I am writing this, I did think of one, a very important one.

A forum dedicated just for Epic Duel factions. AE forums has their version, but honestly, it conforms to child-like standards, and since the move to this forum, faction history, evolvement and stories have suffered.

This game thrives with communication. If a forum that is created for 17+ was implemented with only faction based rules, this one aspect of the game can thrive.

I just taugth of one last thing I would want to see implemented. This is ground breaking. Hear me out!!

REGULAR PLAYERS AS GUEST TESTERS.

Ok now. Here a rough idea of how it would work. We could set up a voting poll (or any other system) inside the forum community and choose one or two representative. Those people would NOT be archKnights, moderator, or hold any tilte whatsoever. They would be on the testing team for one month, testing every new features. They would then be replace by new members.

 i got three

Faction Founder Stepdown
Ive been promising my buddy that he will get my faction for a year now hes even calling most of the shots i just kick people and make titles. So handing him total control would be great.

Retrain Revamp
If i remeber correctly it was modiled off of NJThugs suggestion that you apply all stats and skill points at once and as you poor them in you can take them out allowing you to see your changes all at once and to make several retrains in one.

We got some epic Artists out there, like my buddy DillBagel, so lets make use of their skill and not have NW work himself to death becuase once hes out of ideas we are sunk

1. Retrain revamp (We all want faster retrains, sort of like Mechquest training)

2. Tournaments (They are fun)

3. Co- Founder position. [I really want that, incase the founder is on a vacation, you can cover him (Sort of like President and Vice-President)]

4. More bosses (More achievements =D)

5. Enhanceable robots (We need more stats!)

6. 2nd faction, (You have one currently you're staying in, and another you're with, it should be a bit more fun.)

7. Ignore button (Such as the noobs that say "F4F" all the time =.=)

8. Game pods (Minigames, we all want one xD)

9. Ballyhoo (Everyone wants ballyhoo, who wouldn't?)

10. Founder step down (Alot have been asking so why not make implement it?)

11. Survivor Mode (See how many 1vs1 wins you can make in a row!)

12. Territories (Factions that control the flag, control the entire map)

13. Balance (Classes need to be a bit more balanced, we still have whiners on the forums bout us TLM)

14. Improved Engine Improvements (The last one caused us lag, and you ask why?)

15. Link ally 2vs2 (Who wants to end up with a noob level 27?)

16. More maps (I wanna know what's on the west of the map, not central. xD)

17. Group PM (What if you want you and your buds to talk in one window, it could happen! =D)

18. Faction Juggernaut dominations (We have players, why not factions? =p)

19. Clan Wars (Clan vs Clan real-time action, who wouldn't want?!)

I'll keep updating..
I think am all out. =/
