I would like this thread to commemorate those skills, items, weapons, robots, vehicles, or hairstyles that you deem "back from the dead".

Today, I played a 2v2 with Loki to see a wonderful build that really utilized Reflex Boost to help improve Multishot and his Stun Grenade. Finally great to see some "Stun Grenades" being thrown around in-game. Also, the rise in the use of Caster builds (shoutout to XxCallistoxX here) makes gameplay here actually a lot more fun. I really do enjoy not seeing the usual 5 focus mercs (which I have switched out of) and beginning to see all sorts of new improvised builds.

QuickEdit:
Just random, but today I was in a 2v2, used AS then one other player left, the first artillery (the first portion of damage) hit the other player, and the second one hit me lol. Off topic, but whatever. The other player saw it as well.

i havent used a stun grenade for dmg since the beta phase

thx to the new balance changes i can use caster skills in 2vs2 such as plasma rain (FINNALY!) and now the mercs arent the only ones who can use an effective multi build ^_^

Yes the modifications that were made this week will help Bounties and Mages a little in 2v2 but sadly missed the mark for 1v1.

I find tanking much easier since the skills are now stronger at cheaper levels. Seems like not much changed really.

well yes sadly 1vs1 is not balance.
and now with massacare of bh nerf that just ruined every bh with a str build and honestly this update just made tlm stronger than they already were and needed to be against other classes

Ummmmmm yeahhhh...... Sooooooooo what's the change?

Everything's about the same as far as I can tell. If they buffed SPECIFIC skills for SPECIFIC classes then sure there would be a difference but come on.....everything that was garbage last week is still garbage this week.

Looks to me there just paving the way for something new but as far as back from the dead goes.....it's still dead.

well, i tried a dex build which it was fun. but really, since emp is now lvl scaled, that we means we now drain more energy. idk what u r but im enjoying this update. i think 5 focus it too weak. when bot is used, one move goes into three turn cooldown and the other one turn

Casters are not revived in 1v1...I promise. The problem with caster builds at high levels (at least for a mage) has always been energy. Having to pick between a malfunction/heal and a level 3 Plasma Bolt/Overload has always made "casting" insignificant. Why? Because where as with Plasma Bolt and Overload your damage potential is around 50 total between the two of them, with malfunction/heal your damage potential can climb to the hundreds. Heal, Malfunction, Bazooka, Gun, Hit, thats around 100 damage for me against a strength BH. However if I had gone with the Overload/Plasma instead, I would have maybe hit around 15-25 each, making my average around 40 damage total, and would have been left with no energy to heal or reclaim health.

So the problem with "casting" has never really been power. Its just been that a skill like Plasma Bolt will never be chosen over a skill like Malfunction, or thats the way I see it anyway. While these new "buffs" may be somewhat useful in 2v2, 1v1 has remained relatively unchanged. I tried a caster and it didn't work. I am not saying NO caster build will work, I'm just saying the build I have now will last a lot longer then a caster in most fights.

The only skill I will use at this point, is Supercharge. Now there is a skill that can come in handy at level 1, and with the latest buff, I find myself using it more and more.

SIDENOTE: I don't think Bounty Hunters were crippled. From what I have heard, the Support requirement is being lowered. Also, I have always felt Strength Bounty Hunter can be particularly hard to beat when in the right hands. I think this "nerf" evened out the class, and brought skill back in to play. Other then that, I think the latest update should have taken 1 week at the most, am disspointed with how long it took to be released, and look forward to some new builds...but not caster builds. Those still don't work.

My BH is now using a DEX Build with Stun Grenade and Multi-Shot.

I have a DEX Caster in progress too.

-I agree.Whatever spell you decide to use,you will have to add more points into energy.How many depends on how many points you're willing to sacrifice in other skills.

-Having any spell at lvl 3 is insignificant no matter how much energy it uses.And you don't always have to pick,I can use both malf and plasma bolt.
What makes caster builds riskier is the fact that you have enough energy for 2-3 moves,depends on what spell you use.How you use that energy will decide if you'll win or lose.

-Also true.While having maxed plasma bolt is most certainly fun I wouldn't go with it in 1vs1.Simply because supp or tank builds work much better.They are less dependent on energy and focus more on weapon damage.

@bloodknight997
im a TLM so i use 5 focus/support, but for my b.h. i use high dex and multi and im thinking about using stun grenades again it would be fun

@Nexus...
B.H. was crippled in the fac no one can use massacure as effectively as b4 even with the support req lowered ud still have to have a ton of energy if u wanted to use a high leveled massacure
