The new harvest armour is proberly the best looking since founder, only one problem...........

The stats, no offence, suk!

I dont see why the devs consitantly put support and Strength togther, I know that they are trying to get rid of spamming of stats, well they should of thought of that before they made enhacements.
Also I dont see what is wrong with spamming of stats as long as they can be beatin, Why should we be moving towars focus builds. Soon it will be Epic Duel Same thing vs. the Same thing but if you have varium you automatically beat those without....

My hope for the future would be less wepons, gear and armour with all 4 stats or less with both strength and support.

It's a real shame If the stats were good I might of been conviced to buy it simply because it looks epic even though I wasnt set on buying this new armour.

What do you guys think?

Do you like the looks so much you dont care for the stats?

Or do you actully like the stats?

I agree with you Remorse. The same thing happened with the mutating dragon weapons; they looked great although their stat modifiers were bad, and then next, the TLaPD weapons were released with good stats (referring to the physical staff here) but terrible looks. This Harvest Husk armour looks absolutely amazing for females, although it's just another bulky armour for the males :/. I wish that they'd actually make a class-changing armour which changes class with you (so it looks thinner for hunters and mages whereas it's bulkier for mercenaries). We haven't actually had any RARE varium armours since the founder promotion by the way as well, so I'm going to be waiting for a rare armour which hopefully ticks all the boxes.

well firstly you have to consider this is the best armor for the newer players who missed tesla and founder,the stats have good potential enspecially when you consider the +9 def/res boost and the 8 enhance slots,now i know it isnt the best armor around by far,but considering its release date and stats,and the all around visual appeal i dont think its as bad as some people make it out to be.

^ so true, no-one except balance/5 focus builds need both str and support at the same time, are they trying to force us on those builds or something?

I do care about the stats, but the hazard armor is currently the best one for f2p (hazard gives the same kind of crappy stats)

and of course i dont like the stats (both of 'em)

 In a PvP game I think I could care less about looks because power is what gets you places.

Sorry, being smexy just doesn't cut it in ED.

i would go for stats if i go for looks i would have stayed with my bio trooper EF armor. so snork pls drop hazard armor and let it be energy pls pls pls.

I actually prefer look over stats, or at least having something match them both

New armor looks fantastic but i already got bunny borg and new one only will give +2 supp to my str build :/ so paying 2k varium on +2 supp seem not logical so i will not buy it.

the stats for the armor are amazing.

so tired of players trying to mix-n-match gear so they can stack one stat. and for those who say they don't use support in a str build or
str in a support build. erm that is a complete lie. you use the stat every fight and 1 step down for support and str will not wreck your build

the game isnt pushing you towards 5 focus, you are by always wanting maximum amount in one particular stat. then those same players
come on the forum complaining about luck etc.

I also prefer looks but usually the best gear doesn't match each other for colors or artwork style.

I'm pretty sure the rule of thumb for ED is a good looking item gets lousy stats, but horrible looking gets amazing stats and bunny's get the OP stats xD

lousy stats are purely a matter of opinion. they are AWESOME stats in my book.
most of the people complaining already have bunnyborg and/or tesla

This new armor is BUTT UGLY. I'm so sorry to the artists, it LOOKS good, at the artistic level, it's just really ugly.
Not only that, but the stats are horrible.
Honestly, the two best looking armors are Bunnyborg and Founder armor.
Good weapons are good looking too, they just don't match.

Like people said before on this thread, taste in looks are very personnal.

So to me, The new harvest armor is the best looking armor ingame now. Yes it beats founder to me. Of course the stats are not that great but again, it all depends on what your looking for in a built and how it compliment your other gear as well.

Good job to the artists. The biohazard armor ( though completly useless for a full varium level cap player) is pretty funny.

My answer ? BOTH . I prefer the awesome looking weps to have better stats because why would a legendary-looking wep should have rubbish stats anyway?
