  • Actually the location is 100% accurate since that is indeed the name of the quest. However is was the quest entry itself that needed a location update because if you want to know where to get the reward, you need accurate information to know where to go. Thank you! ~B

    -The bits in red and blue are a bit confusing, as it appears to be the case that there are two triggers for being in the proper quest, and against plants??

    Yes, there are two triggers. They stack multiplicatively. Off the top of my head, you could write something like:

    seems to be somewhat bugged in that in FMS the first hit always does Magic damage regardless of the mode, it's also nigh impossible to change mode when in an armor that overrides weapon graphics (like the Morningstar series for example).

    No, that's their max scale, so if I have the level 120 version the max it'll scale to is level 140.

    It scales in two different manners, there's a max scale and there's the regular scaling, a level 120 player wouldn't get a plevel 140 weapon from the get go, however it doesn't seem to scale exactly to your level but rather 3 levels above what you are.

    Edit: Hmm, I have a sneaking suspicion that kind of scaling is actually a sort of artificially induced Guardian Bonus and that on an adventurer character it would Scale as you'd expect.

    Okay info for the Z-Blade scythes:

    Scaling works as follow's:

    Each scythe has a Minimum Base Scaling Level (MiBSL) (the level it has in the shop) and a Maximum Base Scaling Level (MaBSL) (level in the shop + 20) .

    The weapon's Base Scaling Level (BSL) is Minimum(Maximum(MiBSL, Your Character Level),MaBSL)

    The weapon's Scaling Level is the Guardian Power Level of a weapon of the BSL:

    For those not familiar with the formula for Guardan Power Level (GPL)
    If BSL is < 100
    GPL = Round(Maximum(0.0008*BSL^2+0.84*BSL+10.375), BSL+3));
    else
    GPL = BSL+3;

    Base/Random/BtH are then calculated from the GPL for a weapon of the Z-Blade Scythe's current type.

    The Special Rate is 20% and the Special is a normal special for the weapon's GPL.

    (This is a simplified explanation since the scaling actually works the same way Temp scaling does (ie multiplying the B/R by ValueAtGPLForType/ValueAtShop).

    TL;DR: It functions as a Guardian Power Level Weapon of the selected type for a character of any level between its shop level and its shop level +20 , (if you're lower than the shop level it'll function as a Guardian Power Level weapon of the Shop Level , if you're higher it'll function as a Guardian Power Level Weapon of the Shop Level + 20).
