Do you think that we deserve a decent achievement for being a member of the actual epicduel forums? I was thinking nothing much but have it be 500 rating points worth but it's more made for bragging rights and have something cool to like at rather than getting alot of rating points. Do you think we deserve one?

It would be nice but how would we prove it? They no longer exist.
May be call it EDF1?

I am sure we could think of something better than that. I don't even mind if it has no points, but would be good for those who need some.

Would be pretty sweet. Yet I think it would be hard to prove which ones who was on that forum. As you guys have said dosent it need any rating points, would just be fun to "show of" that you have been taking care of ED since it began! :)

Maybe if one of us could get permission from a staff member and allow us to make a list it could work. Like a list of our in-game names, our old forum name, and our name on this one?! Maybe then it can be initiated?

 For all you know, I could have had a noob member with one post there in Beta when i still used my former main, current alt....

It's gonna take a while to prove. Sure, Fay was there. What about the thousand and one other people?

I'm staying out of this. But your gonna have to award everyone with an account? Good luck, lol. Bet a bunch of people there have nonexistent accounts thanks to Titan deleting some a while back to clear name, sine they probably made forum account when they began. XD

In game achievements should be earned in game. The forums are separate and should always remain that way. This idea seems like an awful lot of work for very little reward especially for the DEVs who are already running on fumes.

^ I agree spart,

Not that I dont like the idea of a reward, I just think the time spent for this minimal reward (could posibly take weeks) Is not worth it, not to mention being an unproductive use of the devs time.

Maybe one day something could be made but for now I dont think it should happen.

The Devs just can track from the history of people who joined the old ED forum. :)

But, it would be too much work and this is not so important.

The Devs are very busy to create future things and to continue to improve the balance issues.

LOL, same, more raiting better;) but how they will know? well my old forum name was also TurkishIncubus like my char but determining the all old forum users is very hard thing.

First off: as per the ED GD Rules, suggestions are not allowed in General Discussion. Please post them in the appropriate thread in ED Suggestions.

Second: Creating an achievement for people who were members of the old forums would only help to create a rift between them and the newer members. We aren't "The ED Comminity" and then "The AE Community". ED is part of AE so we are all one community and everyone should be treated as such. A person who was a member of the old ED forums doesn't deserve anything more or less than a person who wasn't.
There shouldn't be anything that could give anyone any sense of "I'm better than you because I was around for <insert time frame>". Sure having stuff from a long time ago is all well and good but it doesn't make sense to have bragging rights for something that you didn't really have to earn. Especially something that wasn't in game or wasn't given to you at that time.

Finally: While it may seem like a good idea at first, like Sparticus said it wouldn't be worth the time it would take to do it. Especially since they would have to manually put it on every character.
