I looked out from my home, the Undermountain was still between me and Ravenloss...but I highly preferred it that way. The denizens of Ravenloss were unfortunate victims of a curse. Not meaning I am free of being cursed though, yet I am still grown from a completely different branch than those of Ravenloss altogether. And, I have lived long in my solitude away from all other settlements, but I was used to it...ever since I left it...and that what plagued me... "Run, get him away from here! Quickly, before this monstrosity takes more from us all!" a person who I presumed was my father said to another being that I knew nothing of. I was moved quickly from what I believe was my birthplace. A great beast slew down the man who yelled to get me as far from there as fast as was possible. The person holding me had released a great number of tears...the world seemed to grow more and more distant as time went on. Whoever was holding me had died as whatever the being was that was destroying the city forced a pike into him. The being wore a mask of pure gold, with multiple etchings inside of it, though they made no sense and were so contradicting...I gazed in awe at them, frozen in time it seemed. Then everything fades and I found myself inside the UnderMountain with what seemed no escape, I knew not of how much time passed either. And there was also an ethereal being inside the place- "Ry'Clus!" a young man cut me from my walk through memory lane, I knew he had to have been here and met me before to know where exactly I lived inside the Undermountain, and knew of the elusive door, for no one could find it by mere luck. I lifted my hood before he entered and greeted him. "Hello, welcome to my abode...what business have you?" I told the ChaosWeaver, "Are you from Ravenloss? If so, what do they want from me now?" I was tired of Ravenloss sending couriers asking me for assistance in little things they could do themselves, it annoyed me how they act like I'm somewhat that they depend on. Although, this now seemed different...the being actually looked quite...panicked, and everything that was said was incomprehensible. "Calm down, calm down, my haven is the safest location around," I attempted to soothe the panicked ChaosWeaver, he was one that visited me occasionally to learn my way of weaving with Soulallies, for I knew better than anyone that lived in Ravenloss. "But, but...!" The apprentice beckoned me, "It's coming! Here! Here! It's coming here!" He rushed behind me shivering and quaking in fear. His teeth chattering and hitting each other fiercely, but he paid no attention to that, he was scared to death, and perhaps even greater. He now tried to hide deeper inside of my sanctum, and his arms flung to open things faster than I had ever seen from him. I grabbed him by the back of his shirt and held him. "What is coming here, though?" I queried, not knowing what in the world he was talking about. I also gently let him down and try to relax some. "The golden faced creature! It's coming!" He stuttered multiple times in telling me this, "It was on the road whenever I was coming here, behind it was a destroyed town which was once a milestone that helped me get to you, then he was following me!" "Wait...this couldn't possibly be..." I said as I begun to quickly think to myself. I recall a golden masked being that destroyed my birthplace, but it couldn't possibly be the same creature, could it? Before I could continue asking myself, a claw dug its way inside.
