Frostbane perma-rare Azrael's bane not?

I demand an explanation about the Azrael's Bane's reappearance while FrostBane disappeared forever. Firstly, FrostBane has NO special effect but if it was readded, it would have icy chill anyway but is still pointless since it only affects George Lowe. Second, if FrostBane didn't have any effect than its cousin Azrael Bane, why remove it when its cousin sword has a 5% chance to crit on strike when FrostBane doesn't do anything to players at all?(except striking them to death) I find it absurd removing a cool looking weapon with exactly THE SAME STATS and primary damage but different damage type. Any thoughts of yours?

I thought Frostbane did return when the new Frost promo was on. must of been wrong, the wiki only says 2009 and 2010.

I see a lot of players with it still, thats for sure

You mean using the Frost Slayer. It's different from FrostBane and the Frost Slayer is the buffed and bulkier version of FrostBane along with its special attack.

People got a second chance to get Frostbane, why can't they get another one for Azrael's Bane?

Algorithim is right,

Frostbane was avaiable for two seasons.

Azreal is now avaiable for two seasons aswell thus impling it may be perma rare after this event.

@King Frostlich: nah I know the difference between the swords, I thought I remembered seeing it in Frysteland Hank's inventory during the Frost Slayer promo

yeah except frost slayer stats sucked compared to frostbane.

^ What about a homeless man's trash? It could be a raccoon's treasure, but a raccoon definitely isn't a man!

Anyways, perhaps it was decided that FrostBane had spent enough time in-game. What about Dracula? That sword has been gone foreverrr. Azrael's Bane is in the timing, and believe me, it's lifespan is ticking away. It is a good question, however. I WOULD NEVER HAVE EXPECTED AZRAEL'S BANE TO RETURN. I knew I did something right when I had sold it...

I wouldn't declare that sword as a rare, but releasing it's stock to the shops is strange, I would say it requires explanation.

well it does seem like they get 2 seasons and then gone :) it is a good system considering that each "season" is essentially a year.

Frost bane showed up in this game twice. Therefor it is only logical that Azreal bane does as well.

Good to know.

Did I say Dracula? That sword isn't rare. More like--- rarely used. For good reasons.
