Factions are now a big part of the game due to the wars. we all know that.

so one way to help improve the faction system

1) add token bank.

what is it?
basically u have ur members donate to the token bank instead of flags.
the token bank would be found in headquarters. what this would do is let the founder (maybe officers?) to donate to the flags as he deems necessary. these tokens can only be used for faction purposes. meaning the leader cant use tokens for himself.

2) Faction Pages

What is it?
basically like char pages, but for factions. it would display the same info as u would see ingame.
lvl, wins, members, score, medals, flags (location aswell, and how many tokens) donations from each member and how many wins they go in that faction.

take a look here on how it should look.
below that, there would be a chart that shows the members by rank. (leader, officer, member) and wins along with token donations.


3) Missions

What is it?
its basically missions but for factions. can be accepted/declined/turned in by leader and any officer.
the faction missions would be repeatable and would fit with the storyline. (more ideas for cindy :)

now there would be like 1 small story which is the small mission.
then a second continuation mission. then a third mission. (third mission being the last once)

Note: the second mission would be harder than the first one, but give more rewards compared to the second.
same with third being harder than second.

Solo daily missions
Lvl 1 mission: get 1 solo daily - 100 score reward
Lvl 2 mission: Get 5 solo dailies - 700 score reward
Lvl 3 mission: get 10 solo dailies - 1500 score reward.

WD mission
Lvl 1 mission: get 1 WD - 150 score reward
Lvl 2 mission: get 5 WD - 1000 score reward
Lvl 3 mission: get 10 WD - 5000 score reward

Wins mission - (1 point from solo, 2 from team and jugger)
Lvl 1 mission: 10k points - 1000 score reward
Lvl 2 mission: 25k points - 3000 score reward
Lvl 3 mission: 50k points - 7000 score reward

mission types can be used for anything that faction related, from wins to flag captures. and u would only be able to accept 1 mission from each category. like only 1 solo daily mission. and then only 1 WD mission.

faction should also get a mission log count. (since faction mission are repeatable)
so it would be like this
Solo daily mission:
lvl 1: completed 12 times
lvl 2: completed 5 times
lvl 3: completed 2 times

this would improve factions and give more incentive for all ingame factions to be active.


4) No Friendly Fire

What is it? fix faction issues so that when a faction goes for a daily solo/team faction champion we dont have a faction teammates/comrades as an enemy.

it sucks to have to fight about 50 faction teamates/comrades through out the whole day when going for a faction daily.




REWARDS

1) Rewarding Factions lvls

What is it?
well its basically rewarding faction lvls by increasing their member capacity via lvls. this would reward hard working factions.

Lvl 1 - 18 Member Capacity
Lvl 2 - 19 Member Capacity
Lvl 3 - 20 Member Capacity
Lvl 4 - 20 Member Capacity
Lvl 5 - 21 Member Capacity
Lvl 6 - 21 Member Capacity
Lvl 7 - 22 Member Capacity
Lvl 8 - 22 Member Capacity
Lvl 9 - 23 Member Capacity
Lvl 10- 23 Member Capacity
Lvl 11- 24 Member Capacity
Lvl 12- 24 Member Capacity
Lvl 13- 25 Member Capacity

What is it? Rewarding hard work by factions when they win things like solo/team faction champ, world domination, and daily flag captures.
rewards would be something like this.

example.
1 Solo Daily = 2500 Credits
1 Team Daily = 5000 credits
1 flag capture = 1000 credits. (thats when u capture the 24 flags for that day only)
1 juggernaut daily = 5000 credits





Now i dont know if many of u read all of this. but please DO NOT post things like "supported" "not support" or "agreed"

i would like to actually read ur thoughts on the matter.

Questions for the forumities.

1) if u were a developer of epicduel, which of these ideas would u implement ingame?
2) as a gamer, would u like to see nice game additions/improvements like these?
3) related to factions, what would u like to see next in factions as improvements or addition? please explain why it would be good if u can.
4) what is ur biggest concern related to factions?

NOTE: to the aks and mods. this isn't a suggestion, i would just like to hear forum members thought on things that may improve the game. as well as their concerns relating factions.

2) as a gamer, would u like to see nice game additions/improvements like these? Yes, of course, factions are the most important part of the game, its why we log back on, we need to get our wins.
3) related to factions, what would u like to see next in factions as improvements or addition? please explain why it would be good if u can. I like your ideas, i would like the notebot to be able to scroll up and down.
4) what is ur biggest concern related to factions? Not sure, as a CAD member or something, lol.

Like I said the last time, the Member increasing capacity would be unfair for lower levels.
How can they win anything then with such a dissadvantage...

hard work? just like the hard working factions have reached lvl 11-12
like i said, up to lvl 9 its very easy and can be done in about 2-4 weeks.
while most lvl 11-12 factions have been around for over a year.
if u cant grind hard for 2-4 weeks when lvl 11-12 factions been doing it for a year.
i think u would be at a disadvantage even if u were on the same lvl and had same member capacity.

and as for missions. the number of WDs, and dailies (or whatever it is) doesn't need to be that high. im just using those numbers as examples.

Sorry, that may have come across the wrong way XD

What i meant was, i'd rather have a member in a contributing faction determine new ideas for it, as I'm not one to ask for faction improvements, and they probably know better than i would.

i would like to explain something when i said 2-4 weeks.
when u start at lvl 1. u have 18 members.
at lvl 2, u have 19, at lvl 3 u have 20.
now if u count the influence needed for lvl 3. its 2000 wins. 2000 wins and u already got rid of nearly half of ur supposed disadvantage.

now lvl 5 is 21 members. and after lvl 3, u need 8000 wins for lvl 5. but at lvl 3 u have 20 members. making it easier for u to reach lvl 5.
the more u advance, the easier it is for u to reach the next lvl compared to now. or compared to other factions when they did this in the past as oppose to how a new faction would do it now.


NOTE: these are the amount of wins required for next lvl, assuming u dont get any daily medals, WD, or flag captures.

in order to reach a lvl on just wins alone, grab the amount of influence needed. and multiply it by 4. and thats how many wins u need.
if u count flags and dailies. it gets much easier.
but keep in mind that as ur growing, ur getting more member slots, also making it easier for u to get more wins and advancing to the next lvl.

this isn't to make low lvls faction have a disadvantage, this is to promote growth, and reward factions for their hard work in reaching a high lvl.

sorry that i made this one long too. i just felt it needed to be explain better for people who doubt that this may be good.

If you were a developer of EpicDuel, which of these ideas would you implement ingame?
I'd add the Credit Reward system to factions, as well as Faction CharPage and Mission System, and the No Friendly Fire effect. Not the Member Space idea though, since low levels would get crushed in competitions for flags etc due to the extra influence.

Yes, of course, factions are one of the important features in this game.

I would want a reward system, as well as a Faction Merchant, that unlocks items each time you gain 500 wins in the faction. These items would be randomly drawn from the existing weapons pool, with one difference: a 15% Credit discount.

What is your biggest concern related to factions?
That they will die out as people lose interest.

ok i posted this in the suggestion section almost 2 years ago XD and yet the devs did not do anything yes they did scaled the credits earn in 2v2 to be more but still wat bout 2v2 faction.

all ideas are gr8 but i dont like the faction member cap increase thingy because it would give a super unfair advantage.i would implement the other idea except increase member cap idea.

yes and i would also like to see a fair competition grounds between 2v2 faction,1v1 faction and jug factions. at the moment 1v1 faction tend to lvl up their faction faster as the gain the same influence as 2v2er and juggers.

the additions/suggestion made by gold are a gr8 way to make the faction much more interesting. right now it is bout 1v1,2v2,flags and wd only kinda boring and once u achieved all goals u have for the faction what is the point of being in a faction. well i want the devs to make faction much more interesting.

Balance between 2v2,1v1 and jug faction

@ I don't agree on member capacity, it just will wide out the range from high lvl factions from low lvl factions, all famous/skill players would go join such famous factions and the low ones will get screwed little by little and by the end, they will get disband so no to the member capacity.
About the other options, rewards seems fine and about the new improvement, Faction Wars, 2 factions would fight each other and by the end of the day, the most earned wins/tokens or whatever would be the winner and receive a prize.

I would implement the first four points you made, although I would change up the missions a bit.

Definitely. It would make life in a faction more enjoyable.

Hopefully founder step-down and perhaps some rewards for higher ranked factions.

When a faction founder retires, or when a faction dies off.

I liked your points. They all seemed reasonable and just. However, the missions I found odd. If you were using your 1v1 rewards as an example, that's fine.
A mission should actually be a task assigned to a faction that has little or nothing to do with the usual going-ons of that faction. Like, for example, a mission could
be "Capture flag ________ for 10 000 score points". It should be something that you don't usually do (so 1v1 and 2v2). They should also be something that any faction could
accomplish, because if it weren't, it would ruin the feature for many players.

Of course. I can barely remember the last time they made a major improvement to an existing system. (And no, retrain revamp doesn't count.)

Juggernaut win counter, and daily faction juggernaut awards. (Why? Because juggernaut is being left out from the faction system.)

That factions are being widely ignored, and that they are slowly losing importance in the game.

I'd have to agree with all your ideas except the expanding faction capacity. If the more successful a faction is, then the more people they get. Thats the basic idea you are stating. Yet, if they get more people, they have even more of an davantage, and will win even more. I especially love your giving credits to members idea.

As a game I would like to see these additions made. Quests, rewards, and faction importance need to exist. The only thing is the faction capacity is a little bit shaky when dominate factions become more dominate.

I mainly want to see factions have more in game features rather than just taking flags and gaining influence. Besides those, factions have no purposes.

I dont support faction missions, i hate missions
I dont support friendly fire, i like kicking Vix's butt

Faction Hardwork Rewards pls , with CaD we win 115 1vs1 champ and got what??? Nothing

No Rewarding system, we win those champs for nothing just to increase popularity.


Also i dont think 2vs2 daily champ should give higher amount of credits since its way much more easier than 1vs1. With 4 ppl playing hard can easyly win 2vs2 champ but 1vs1 requires more hard team work. Maybe sometimes all 18 players playing cant be enough. How i know this? Well with 4 ppl playing we win like 4-5 2vs2 in my old faction, in CaD sometimes we play very hard but cant win.

so 1vs1 should give higher reward than 2vs2 in my opinion.

Juggernaut wins, daily faction board, ... added to the faction system, because juggernaut should be the same as solo and team!

Rewarding aged factions, like for each year that you exist, you can have 1 extra members, because it takes a lot of determination to keep your faction and never disband it.

Have a reward that updates to your faction's level (like the frysteland war one), as an extra reward for keeping a faction long and active enough to reach a high level.

There's no room for juggernauts ;(

Btw 2500 for solo champ is way too less, in that day most ppl will do like 10-15k credit, 2500 seem very funny.

this should go in the suggestion section and to be honest i only join factions if i know the person and i get as much wins as possible tokens and war kills dont matter to me

Yes nothing wrong with any of them, plus they are well thought out relatively side effect free.

Faction verse faction in tournements with a leaderboard.

That the faction feature will become boring, and provide minimal entertainment.

i did not steal this from jzaanu
jzaanu idea was for the faction thread in the forums to be linked to their char.

my idea (as i have suggested it in the past aswell)
is to have a whole new type of char page system, but for factions.

and about wiseman idk which idea ur talking.
i never seen anyone else suggest credit bonuses to faction champ winners.

There is no stealing of suggestions. The one is question is having a faction page that is in-game be linked to our faction page on this forum.
It is this particular post in the Suggestion section.

The one post in the Q&A was a question about if their are any specific rules applied if Faction Founders could use that message space and link their AEF faction thread onto a Player's Character Page.

Goldslayer has some very special ideas, and it is great for our community if as many faction features are implemented. Factions beyond the the few features in-game, there should be different projects for all varied types of players.

1. Disagree. 2. Disagree. I don't see the point of it. You can view all those statistics by simply checking your faction. 3. Agreed. 4. Agreed. 5. Disagree. This would widen the gap between high lvl factions and low lvl factions. All low lvl factions would probably disband or quit trying because they would never have a chance at competeing against higher lvl factions. 6. Agreed.
