I dont want any more DC loses , If you remove my DC loses my general ratio will go up 2% .

I start the day with NPCing , than 2 DC against NPC!!! Its same thing every time :S

I think loses against NPCs shouldnt count on win record. Everybody look npc battles as 100% win but DC ruin it.

Persoanly I think NPC wins shouldnt count to you 1v1 win record at all...


All it does is lead to people bragging about how good they are and anyone who doesnt to be discrimnated as being a bad player.

When the truth is most people would lose 1v1 Alot more then 95% because you verse alot of STR based build who can kill you effortlessly if they start and then you get the people who get extremely lucky.

But I agree about DCed loses.
They should not count and if there was a possible way not to it would be good but that proberly wouldnt be possible because then you would be people who purposly DC there interent so they dont get a lose.

But perhaps at least dont count the one the game controls for example ADIM kick bug, and the server resets and the updates.

^ Thats why i said it only for NPC battles, players already 100% win regular NPCs, but when i got DC i got a lose against an oponent that i would win 100%

^ Yes but people will still cheat past the system..


Eg. dont wanna get all those lsoes from losing to Big tuna back in the day xD

Then they could DC themselves if it seems as if they were going to lose.

And if by chance a NPCer who NPCs more then actual playing the game gets extremely UNLUCKY they can get out of it by DC themselves...


I dont think NPCs were made on the sole purpose to get 100% wins ALL the time.

Its a nice thought though.
But if im being honest I doubt something like this will happen.

 lol dude i get a minimum of 10 disconnects per day ... well i used to but now i quitted :)

1 day i got 27 disconnects !!!!!! its soo fkn lame :S

i have a total of about 2k losses in 1vs1 and i started npcing at 1200 losses and not even doing any 1vs1 to get a loss ... about 800 losses from NPCz through disconnect !!!!!!!!

I have the same problem.Its your Internet.When I use my mom's internet,I never go dc.

^ It sure is,

Saterlite internet has to be one of the worst.

I seem to get alot of DCs at home on the farm....

a DC? I haven't seen one of those in ages. Definitely your own internet which makes ED not at fault. So enjoy those losses of yours, I know I will! XD

 DC and closing tab with ED = same thing. How would system pick that up and why would they not count? We'd see much more runners too.
Blame your ISP, I only had DC once when Epic crashed. Otherwise I was fine so surely not fault of game but your ISP for which we cannot do anything about it. c:

@Remorse NPC fights are something players need. There are some players who have either extremely bad days or simply can't win at all. NPCing is a way to have a good record without having to lose as often. There's more to the experience of ED than just facing variums :P

 @wraith DC, short for disconnection, means you lose connection to the server. This happens by an Admin kick bug, lag, AFK for too long and closing the window. Anything that causes the server to lose your connection to the game and your character. Closing the window is the same thing as a DC and ED is unable to tell the difference between closing the window and an actual lag DC or Admin Kick DC. So really there is no difference between closing the window or being kicked.

I agree its a pain. But their is nothing you can do about it other then improve your internet connection. The game can't pick up whether you closed the tab/exited the net or disconnected. All it knows is you left in the middle of a battle therefore you get a lose.

Flaming doesn't make you a infant. Complaining over garbage like this is what does. ND mallet made you stupid, so I don't have much to say. Repharsing what I said into a more "polite" form would cure the problem, definately, right? How the hell do you function in the real world if you can't bare a D/C. If there is a bug constantly causing you to D/C, report it. That is probably the only situation in which you shouldn't get flamed in for making a thread about D/Cs.

Lol, that would be the only situation where you shouldn't (don't deserve) to get flamed for complaining about D/Cs, but it would be a simple post, not a thread like this trash.

Just because "it's his thread" doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a good smack on the head. I was completely off-topic, I'm going to go cry because I did that (sarcasm). Yeah, probably obvious that it was sarcasm, but if you can't bare a few D/Cs, can afford to spend loads of money on this game, but still complain; I don't you would of been able to pick up on it. The people complaining have probably 0 job experience and 0 work hours of any task.

@nico0las: we don't NEED NPCS, the lazy people want them, badly. Like I said ED tends to horde in people that will do anything to get ahead.

I flame those that really deserve or talk about things they have no experience in. The lower levels say "heal is noob" the higher levels blame luck and class for their looses. I see no difference in attitude. I guess you could add luck, opponents class, and D/Cs to the things that make you loose. Strategy obviously, equipment, and activity obviously has nothing to do with it.

edit: I will be disappointed if I don't hear a reply from those who haven't changed their minds.

@ur going to fail What the heck are you blabbering about? What the heck does your job experience or how many hours you work in real life have ANYTHING to do with this thread? Please stay on-topic and stop flamming. Also we do need NPCs. What you just said is a VERY ignorant statement. We need NPCs because it can be very hard to win at high lvls with a lot of varium users and don't forget its a fast way to get quick money and exp. Someone is not lazy because they want NPCs. Strategy and equipment does have something to do with it but luck,opponents class, and D/Cs matter the most. Honestly think before you post.
Edit: Its players like you who give ED GD a bad rep by constantly flamming and trying to put people down. This thread will be locked in no time for sure.

Hmmm, I never disconnect.

I would agree to the situations however, when administration kicks player prior to an update.

Ok ik the problem is my internet *thx for geniuses* , the topic is about DC loses against NPC battles, every player 100% kill npcs so if you lose against a farm npc thats 99.9% DC or Admin kick.

So the idea is dont counting NPC loses in win record cause when i have bad connection i should atleast be able to do npc battles but with bad connection its like 10 win 5 lose which make me cant play when my faction goes for daily champ.

@Turkish I agree because you can only fight 15 NPCs an hour but they probably won't do that.

i been noticing some disconnections aswell.
i think DC losses shouldn't count,

when i get disconnected i highly doubt its on my end.

i have a 5G wired internet, with a 1500 GB hard drive computer with 8 GB rams and like 3 GHz (cant remember exact number)

5G is fastest in the world, and as far as i was told, its only available from 1 internet company (optimum online for those interested in it)

so yeah i agree disconnection losses shouldn't count.

@gold But their is simply no way of the game telling whether you closed the tab or disconnected. Simply make NPC loses not count towards your record. But I highly doubt such a thing would be implemented as it could probably be easily abused by var users.

yeah heres the catch geniuses
if he disconnects on purpose he's not getting a win either.
he might not be getting a loss, but he isn't getting a win.

no win on brainwash = money wasted.
idk what varium player would purposely waste brainwashing time after he payed for it.

The idea will just for not ruining our ratios at farming NPC. If player got DC/Kick/refresh , he will not get a lose but also he will not get a win.

Now with a bad connection its like 10 win 5 lose every hour, this is ridiculous. With the idea player will only get 10 win 5 DC(and since DC will not count) player will get 10 wins with 100% instead of 10 win 5 lose.
