broken items non var

ok so i was wondering why call them non var when you have to actually pay to repair and enhance them wouldnt it be better to pay creds for repairing and then pay var for enhancments?
i mean there is no possible way a total non var would be able to use the weapons. what do you guys think?

(i am a high level var so i dont really care for broken weps)

Rusted items are ment for non-variums and broken items are ment for varium players.

umm i was pretty sure that the broken items were for the non vars to give them an equal chance to var players

^ no one said stop paying var and plus i said creds only for reparing they still have to pay var for enhancments

 @soulprisnerx: Varium in that case serves as your "easy way out". It's much easier to buy Varium Strength Items than it is to grind through hundreds of battles in the hopes that you'll get the drop you want. It's either just paying real life cash to buy the varium item and get it in 1 second, or potentially going through hundreds of fights just top hopefully get the broken item and fix it.

so if there was no "drop" players wouldn't play???? if there is a drop or not , people were playing ,r playing and will continue playing..... so just take the drop out of ur mind , and get happy when u get smthing for free" rather play every battle "hoping for a drop" .

u wont get mad , coz no drop.. juzz imagine no drop and play , u would be twice happy when u get smthing , while azzuming , theirs no drop.

^ i understand what you are saying a valid point but most people cant buy var beacuse they cant in their country or they are too young

now thats juzz ur bad luck and so is mine , theirs no proper method in my country and due to this i pay "double" for 1 package , reason ?? the method available is "way to expensive" :/

^ i wasnt talking for myself if you read my orignal post and you probably work kids cant :P so yeh it is a bit one way im just saying what if they introduce some whole new items for credit only and they can be won in pvp drops.

 If you could fix Varium gear with credits you would have to make the credit price 50% higher then it is on the varium weapon(at the least) so the Variums don't complain about getting ripped off and you would have to have Varium ideas that do not drop in the broken form so Variums hve the edge of diversity.

 non variums have been pretty lucky i'd say the past few releases they've gotten epic items at the same power as last years varium items. they even got an assult bot with lower dmg. i don't want the gap to be too close but i don't want it to be complety unfair. leave it as it is just now it's fine. and about the broken items the post above me is what i think should happen 150% credit cost for broken items not varium.

The gap is still not fine as of now. I'd suggest giving varium weapons/armors 1 or 2 more stat modifiers compared to nonvar weps/armors and a few more enhancement slots, say 2 or 3. That would give a 20 stat difference at max, which is fair because (obviously) you purchase varium for fun, not power. So yeah, replace varium OPness with extra varium-only features. Btw, I'd suggest allowing broken weps to be used as they are, but with less dmg than the original ;)

OMG just make those broken items equipable! And keep repair option varium only.

Like Destrurage mentioned,

we could probably make the broken stuff allowed to be equipped on the condition that the stat modifiers and damage are slightly reduced. Maybe -1 damage and -1 each stat or something like that, then the repair option be varium.
