The idea: remaking old and obsolete items for the high levelled players.

Would you find this beneficial to the game and why?

Should we bring back the oldies and why?

Do you have any comments about classics VS. originals?

Although the artwork team in EpicDuel may not appreciate this, there is the chance to decorate and customize a remake of an old weapon or armour. This option could save time for developers needing something to provide the player-base. I find that to enjoy a game, there must be something that causes a sense of nostalgia (not nausea), maybe bringing back old items will please the community. What about you?

Technically this is what enhancements are supposed to do in the future; make weapons "levelable" with your character so you can use older weapons longer. It's going to be implemented.

Enhancements will "upgrade" older gear?

Do you mean like completely updating old weapons or making better versions of existing weapons?

My idea is 5-6 different levels of weapons for each weapon.

For instance the triblade which has 24 damage, and 5 dexterity, technology, and support.

Pathetic Triblade (Lv 8 version)
16 damage, 2 dex, tech and support (2 slots)

Weak Triblade (lv 16 version)
19 damage, 3 dex, tech and support (4 slots)

Strong Triblade (lv 27 version)
27 damage, 6 stats in each (7 slots)

Perfect Triblade (Lv 33)
33 damage, 8 in each (8 slots)

You can do something like this with every weapon.
This will also decrease the amount of new artwork needed making the artist's jobs a bit easier.

Anyone has any comments or ways to improve this?

@Depressed Void: nononononono, not quite. Think of it like this:

I have a weapon that is level 25. If the weapon has 10 enhancements, the weapon will be able to level with you until level 35. Generally the formula would work as Level+enhancements=scaling range. Encumberance would also play a role - If I were using the same level 25 weapon with 10 enhances, but were only level 30, then the weapon would only be level 30, meaning it'd have as many stats and base damage as a level 30 weapon would. You would only be able to equip weapons as high as your level is, as opposed to the current system where you can *technically* equip items and create items with a high Plevel than your actual player level is, which is putting in more stats into the weapons (which increases its PLevel).

It was supposed to work like this at first but the devs weren't aware of exactly how to do this.

For each "level" converted from enhancements, do the stat points and damage increase?

Yes, they do. There are standards set in place to based on tier and stats (Not many people notice it but they are there). A weapon that is level 25 w/ 10 enhancements in the future system would have a PLevel of 35, which means it would have the same stats as a level 35 weapon, as said before in my previous post:

The quote you cited is what I said what the current system does - it increases the PLevel of a weapon by giving it more stats, which in ED's case allows players to use weapons above their own level in power. For example, Delta Claws have a PLevel of 36, but can be equipped much earlier and the encumbrance penalty is generally circumvented via enhancements. The new system will end that practice.

Make more old items droppable items but in "rusted" version for prizes

@PD
And how will the stat of a weapon be determined after it scales to your level? If scaling requires to create 10 more versions of each weapon, then it will take up too much space to be worth it.

@aqw Do you rather that a weapon has up to 10 stats you could place anywhere on any stat or do you want to buy a weapon and buy an enhancement each time you level up rather than buying several at level cap to be good?
