as many of you think that the frysteland war was not such a succesfull war because of the mas particapation of varium on one side. in this next war the staff have said on twitter varium will not have a great effect. post here what you expect from the next war so the staff can listen to the forumers oinion

I hope varium will have less of an influence in the next war.

^I thought he said "many monkeys".

ON-TOPIC: More War NPCs. Also, make Bombs and Super Bombs do more *gasps*, but give players a limit on how many bombs to use.

I look forward to the next war and will be far more active in it.
Was on the losing side last time that has left a bitter taste in my mouth.
As for the varium use, best remedy is diminshing returns, people who
are intelligent are not likely to spend real money and get little in return for it.
But then again some will do anything for a win or money. :-(

Looking for the Exiles Super Bombs are reportedly going to less powerful(2x a normal bomb instead of 4x a normal bomb) so Smackie's 1K dollar investment will only get him half as far this war if that happens.

But I'm really looking forward to this war because I want to see those robot bug warriors

Would have loved the previous war if it was like a month or 2 longer . I hope the upcoming one becomes even better .

Don't forget last Frysteland War, Jari lost to someone who spent his money on just a War Hero achievement. It was a big sign that the devs made the biggest mistake in wars and that's using varium for super war bombs.

@Frost
Yeah and it's a shame that the saying "Hard work does pay off" doesn't apply here . Too sad . But i just wish that the Devs implement TurkishIncubus's idea when they're gonna put bombs again .

@zman
If it's gonna be similar to the previous war , you gain points by knocking the lights off from faction NPCs . And the War cheevo is like Dailies . Super War Bombs are just miniature Faction weapons like Goliath Cannon .

I hope var plays little or no role in this war- it left a lot of poorer players on the exile side with a very bitter taste in their mouth seeing just one person get more war points than one hundred normal players combined.

We really want to make this a better version of the previous war. One of the issues is that we don't want barium to be as large of a factor as Frysteland, and we would rather reward veteran players regardless of paid status.

maybe they should get rid of bombs altogether and just have NPC kills.

of course, you would have to have rewards from the NPC's.

^That sounds great Cindy. If you and the team can keep that ideal first and foremost in your minds throughout the war creating process, then I am sure that the end product will be many times better than the original Frysteland war was. :)

If the War NPC's actualy gave Credits instead of the Rare drop, I think it would push people to farm.

We rather have something reliable than something that requires luck
We allready have enough Luck Factors ingame :P )

^But luck evens out in a long run so they'd eventually yield the same results, and it would be something different from normal PvP battling.

Plus it's satisfying to see getting a drop. :P

^I actually would prefer a standard credit drop system. With the ice gem system, I only received about 20 credits per Fenris kill, rather than 32.

^Yes well balancing the credit drop ratio per kill is a different thing. I was talking about a scenario where both gem drops and standard credit drops would yield the same amount of credits per battle.

But I wonder if the upcoming war will have the same drop system for rewarding players for battling as the last war did. Could it be different?

ok heres my random thought of the day, let the varium do the same damage as they did in the last war HOWEVER,
make the bombs cost both varium 1500, and credits 4000. also make it so only like two can be used per hour.

as for bomb drops from npc's (if they have drops like that in the coming war) make them do about 30% less damage
than the bombs you buy.

this should force players to fight npc's instead of simply buying bombs all day long, as i suspect some players did.

@Above: Gimme some Arsenic -.-'

Also, I want more credit payout from War NPCs, and the animation for a Varium war bomb to have much more detail. Also, I want a much longer time for Varium bombs to detonate, but also better animation. Thus, a Varium bomb can only be fired off X times/hour.

Also, Varium bombs should be bought with 5000 credits. Fair.
