The World of Eres
About the World
The World of Eres is known actually as Eden. It has been around for 4 billion years and has gone through many ages and generations of creation. The continents have shifted and changed over many years, mixing together the different cultures of man over time.
In current time -- Eden is housed by 5 continents.
Griss of the north, connecting to the northern wastelands of the continent by a single village. There are two northern villages; Oken, the small fishing village, and Naia, a port and entrance point to the frozen north. It is also home to Windrix Valley, whose home village has the highest population of women and the lowest population of men in the world. As well as the town of Springhelm, and the two rivalling kingdoms of Lucardian and Chessire (Chess, for short)
Sereth of the West, a quiet peaceful continent. Housed to the villages of Ikor and Moonacre. Farming is a major trade in this continent, as well as textiles and other household trades.
Takero of the East, home to the Quelpoco Desert on the southern half and the Kotoko Springs Mountains to the north. Kotoko Springs is considered the most divine spa in all of Eden, home to many healers and services.
The ancient kingdom of Amayas is to the South. Once a supreme empire, now a fallen post-war land. The draconians and dragons call this place home for many reasons, each different to the other.
And in the heart of this world is Trinicia. Home to the Fox Kingdom of Tsuneya and the Province of the Accolades, Altaria.
50 years ago, a young hero sought out to find the lost information of the time known as the Dark Ages. A time where people were cast in black and white over fights for the God's divinity. The hero got as close as he could manage to this information, then one day he vanished without a trace... Our story begins in current time, with a young girl named Juniper Tennet. A young girl from Ikor with a dream to be a pyromancer, her journey takes her far from what she's expecting...
Chapter 1: Father's Orders
The blast of a cannon, the roar of people heading off to battle. The people of Altaria are at war with the Chess Kingdom on the edge of the Badlands. A man calls out to his forces, "Third flank, hold back! Support the front!" Before being blown apart by a blast from a pyromancer. Rayard Tennet, a colonel and front line soldier, gutting open a soldier of the Chess Kingdom's army. He looks around, "Where is she?!"
The sound of an airplane is heard up above. Juniper opens the bay doors on the side of the plane and jumps out. Plummeting over a thousand feet to the surface, she pulls out the parachute in time. Cannon fire is moved towards her, she pulls on the strings of the parachute to move herself out of the way. Upon landing on the ground, she is behind enemy forces. Men charge at her from all four sides. She creates a blast of lightning and fire that incinerates them to bits.
A spear is swung out and touches the tip of her nose, the commanding general of the Chess army riding on horseback in front of her. She takes this as an oppurtunity and strikes with her sword, the horse falls. The bright metal of the sword sings with an echo. One final strike, she lunges at the enemy, slicing him in two.
The war is over, the world is saved. Juniper is lifted high above the crowd of her fellow soldiers in triumph...
Then with a thump she lands off her bed. She awakens from her dream back in her room. The sun shining brightly from her window, she removes her night gown and puts a tank top on. Gathering her bags, she heads downstairs to the site of her father. Rayard Tennet, at his sight Juniper stops running and stands still with a salute. Her father taught her well.
"Good morning, have a rough night? One of your fantasy dreams, I assume?"
"And a good morning to you, father. Just the same one, saving the world from blah blah blah."
Rayard laughs, "Just like you mother, always thinking she could be something great. Still planning on heading to the mage academy?"
Juniper adjusts the strap on her bag, "Count on it, I'm different from you. I want to be mage, not some soldier on the front lines. I want to learn as much of this world as possible."
"You sound like him"
"The hero, the one that saved this world from a growing threat. He made the Dark Ages seem so clear to the populace. I want to know as much as he did, no holding back."

Reason for posting:
This is a storyline I have been working on for THREE YEARS now, I had to redo it MANY times to get it right.
I really don't know where to post this. I know there's a section for Fanfics... which are related to AE games... but this isn't a fanfic of any game at all...
IDK what I'll do with it when I'm done, not 100% sure. It'll probably become one of my finished projects that I dump into a box somewhere in my room :T ah well...
Oh, and yes, I know my writing is horrible. It's 10 at night as I'm posting this, rushing and all. Plus I haven't even tweaked it yet, rough copy. (Screen-Writing is so much easier  )
