Think you know AQWorlds pretty well? Want to test your knowledge? Then this puzzling thread is the place for you! Work together with your fellow forum members to solves some riddles about AQWorlds from us, your AQWorlds General Discussion ArchKnights!

The Thread Rules
  • All =AE= Comprehensive Forum Rules and =AQW= General Discussion Forum Rules apply.
  • No randomly guessing answers. Any post that is solely a random guess of an answer will be removed.
  • Do not post your own riddle! We do not want people posting their own riddles as then there would be too many different topics for discussion happening at once.
  • If you wish to discuss an old riddle after the answer has been revealed, please be sure to make it absolutely which riddle you are referring to, so as not to mislead others on the most current riddle.
  • Do not ask the ArchKnights for hints. These riddles are meant to be a problem-solving and team-building thing, and it defeats the purpose if you come to someone with the answer asking for help.

How This Works
  1. Every few days, one of the ArchKnights will move the old riddle to the bottom of the thread, give the answer to that riddle, and add a new riddle to the thread.
  2. You'll take the clues that are provided in the first post and work together to try to figure out what it is! These clues may be easy, they may be hard, they may require you to really think about what we might be referring to.
  3. Once you think you've figured out what the answer is, you'll go find it in-game and take a screenshot of yourself with it. If you cannot actually equip it (be it Legend-only or a Miscellaneous item, or an AC item you cannot or do not want to purchase), a screenshot of the item preview in your inventory or the shop will suffice. Everyone is encouraged to take these, as they are the best way to show you've figured out and found the answer. Once you've posted your link, indicate it as your final answer. If you wish to change it, please do not post again, simply change the link. If you absolutely cannot get an in-game screenshot of the answer, then we will accept a Wiki link, but only on the final day; it's more fun if you're able to track down the answer in-game, so try your best to do that first!
Riddle of the Period for 6 Nov 2017 to 9 Nov 2017

Great balls of fire! Doesn't matter where it gets the power, when you start swinging it around it'll break things. I am not sure where it's hiding since it's not being used, but you better keep your cool when looking for it! Is it from Te Ka? Nah, but might be close.

-From the week of 25 Dec 2016 to 31 Dec 2016: Reaving is bound to happen in war. Chaos cannot be trusted to hold it forever. A mere pittance you will receive for such an ancient treasure. We're not trolling you.
The answer is Savage Reaver.
-From the week of 01 Jan 2017 to 07 Jan 2017: ACk! Artix would never replace Daimyo! The trek wouldn't be worth the trouble anyways.
The answer is Pink Trobbolier Pet.
-From the week of 08 Jan 2017 to 14 Jan 2017: One Mr. Bond would definitely approve of me! My base level is one higher than the highest pH base level! It may be a bit of a pain to try to get me, but if you do, your armour's value is going to go up!
The answer is Gold Dye.
-From the week of 15 Jan 2017 to 21 Jan 2017: Sometimes the first couple versions just aren't good enough. You're going to have to enter the fortress if you want to find me. Grab your brush if you want to be strong. It's always best to know what sort of environment you're in.
The answer is Nova Badge 3.0.
-From the weeks of 3 Feb 2017 to 19 Feb 2017 because I sort of forgot...: 7 times 2 is 15, right? The people who made these must be really smart, but they're probably tired of being mixed up with Bladehaven. It sure would be Awesome to have some of these around.
The answer is Combat Engineer Cape.
-From the period of 30 Feb 2017 to 23 Feb 2017: You may mistake me for being crazy, but that's my cousin. I may be found in your Dreams, but some think my arrival signals a nightmare. 2031434.
The answer is Crow.
-From the period of 24 Feb 2017 to 26 Feb 2017: Art done by a local, who works best when the wind is blowing. Why have just one blade when three are so much cooler? I may seem weak if you just look at me, but if you buy me I grow stronger. If you're really big, I'll be coming for you. *Scy* The riddles are tough sometimes.
The answer is Leviathan's Bane.
-From the period of 27 Feb 2017 to 10 Aug 2017...: Mr. Loggins approved, eh? See here, butter is easy to slice if you've got something hot enough. Why make one piece of equipment when you can use billions of tiny ones to make one bigger one? Seems efficient. Did you see that mechsup at the awards ceremony? Awkward!
The answer is Dangerzone Lightstick.
-From the period of 10 Aug 2017 to 13 Aug 2017: When the timelines merged, did this come with? If you were in a race, you'd be in a good position. I'd say it may be a bit AQua. This is perfect for you if you prefer to break down the images. Apparently it talks too!
The answer is Iconoclast.
-From the period of 14 Aug 2017 to 17 Aug 2017: Hanging out at festivals or worshipping the orchestra are likely places to find me. The hair is totally real! I may be willing to come with you on your journeys, if you can convince me (WAM!).
The answer is Mozard (the monster version).
-From the period of 18 Aug 2017 to 21 Aug 2017: Black and white to unlock the door. Only the truly talented can bake without guidance; everyone else needs help. For something so common, it seems rather uncommon. William you be able to get this?
The answer is Brown Bowler.
-From the period of 22 Aug 2017 to 24 Aug 2017: You can go 30 or you can go ten by three, the choice is with thee. Centuries before the Necropolis, a quarter was ruled. The ruler likely inspired dread, maybe even from Celestials. Once there was great power, but it has flown away. In new-to-you condition!
The answer is Impure Wings.
-From the period of 25 Aug 2017 to 28 Aug 2017: You get what you take, which in this case is nothing. You might feel Legendary when you've got this, but you don't have to be. You won't have to journey far to find this, but you might to make it mightier. First place, second place, third place… we're all winners here! Questing and merging, so many options!
The answer is Silver Victory Blade.
-From the period of 29 Aug 2017 to 31 Aug 2017: No shopping around this time, you know what you want! You can feel your power level is rising, but hopefully it won't take too many episodes. You can have it in any colour you like, as long as its black. You can't keep the glory hidden, so you better turn in that which covers it.
The answer is Archfiend's Spikes.
-From the period of 1 Sep 2017 to 3 Sep 2017: Can you count your ABCs? Better be ready to draw your weapon at a moment's notice. I don't think you'll be using this to eat, but you can sure try if you want to. Just make sure it's not too grimey.
The answer is Sheathed Blade of Evil.
-From the period of 4 Sept 2017 to 7 Sept 2017: How well read are you? Is it your faet to face endless fighting? Some may think that would be awesome, but there's little value in it to others. It just seems like the fights drag-on so long.
The answer is Face of Fae.
-From the period of 8 Sept 2017 to 10 Sept 2017: Tech of the past (even older than 1941!), updated for the future. Just make sure you don't drop it and break it, otherwise you might gain superpowers. Science can make a person really angry, if Things don't go their way. Sometimes identity changes are necessary.
The answer is Plasmid Bow.
-From the period of 11 Sept 2017 to 14 Sept 2017: One of the three friends who has a nice rhyming name, I am not the one who stands out. I'm not sad about it though, despite what it make look like. I suppose I could be persuaded to come along with you on your adventures for the right price, especially if it gets me out of this sizzling, hairball-covered place.
The answer is Oopy Cape.
-From the period of 15 Sept 2017 to 17 Sept 2017: Do you like to garden? Infusion of mother nature can certainly help with that, or with your battles. An Assorted number of situations can be handled when you're dressed properly. People might not know who you are, but we're all from Earth!
The answer is Terra Robe.
-From the period of 18 Sept 2017 to 21 Sept 2017: Time to hit the Gem, but make sure you're not lifting with only your back. 25 reps would make a good goal, as long as you have a standard range of motion. Who knows what will emerge from the endeavor.
The answer is Neverborn Staff.
-From the period of 22 Sept 2017 to 24 Sept 2017: Wanna go forwards? Na. Clearly you don't want to bother with dye either. Fly me to the moon so I can bring back some samples. We should take a vacation to the oceanfront.
The answer is Salty Cap.
-From the period of 25 Sept 2017 to 28 Sept 2017: Apparently the ladies need to be careful around this. Who knows what the goal is, but maybe heading East will help solve it? You know what they say offense is the best for, and it's not breaking things. At least if it grows too tiresome to carry, they'll take care of it free of charge.
The answer is Riftbreaker Cutlass.
-From the period of 29 Sept 2017 to 1 Oct 2017: You gotta Keep yourself safe out there. Sometimes what is dead doesn't want to stay that way. You may want them to hold on a minute, but they won't. If you have half a minute to do what you want a minute for, does that just mean hit twice as hard? You may want to check if this is what it says it is.
The answer is Holy Wasabi.
-From the period of 2 Oct 2017 to 5 Oct 2017: Breaking your tailbone hurts, so how about you carry a few spares with you? That way, if you get hurt slaying dragons or shadows, you'll have a replacement! Gives you an idea, doesn't it? Better pray you're not prey, though, because that would not be awesome.
The answer is Ichneumon Spires.
-From the period of 6 Oct 2017 to 8 Oct 2017: Air force? More like hair force. At least we know they'll always be able to land if there is a problem. Sometimes you have to spend a lot of gold to get a lot of gold. You will have to be a pretty high rank to use it, so start making that breakfast!
The answer is Kitty Skyfighter.
-From the period of 9 Oct 2017 to 12 Oct 2017: This will be handy for the coming Mogloween! I'm not sure but I think this might be Ausome. If you have to Wander around a lot, maybe you should get a horse, though you'd need to keep it in a stable. Man or his best friend, either will keep you company if you get lost.
The answer is Golden Axe of Kalestri.
-From the period of 13 Oct 2017 to 15 Oct 2017: Better hope there's not a drought, otherwise this might be less effective. Not from an angel, though it's certainly close. We all know how much our sharp metal likes to chatter on and have emotional reactions, but don't expect that from this one! It's old, and seen a lot, and not one to Natter.
The answer is Lotic Blade.
-From the period of 16 Oct 2017 to 19 Oct 2017: Hidden away under lock and key, this will not be useful to the one who owns it. Luckily, they'll give it to you if you retrieve it. Sometimes it's best to just attack from a distance, or from a really long distance in this case. You might want to clean it off first, just in case. Can't be 100% accurate, so expect some variation in your hits.
The answer is Sir Valence's Longshot.
-From the period of 20 Oct 2017 to 22 Oct 2017: If you have a reputation for tripping over things in this dimension, good luck! That's something that will stick with you forever. Some things are the same as they used to be, but some things are heading in a different direction. How many times does 7 go into 25?
The answer is Eternal Battlestar.
-From the period of 23 Oct 2017 to 26 Oct 2017: What is this? It certainly is going to take some work to get it, with that Blood, sweat, and tears. A girl's best friend, but a wallet's worst nightmare. Cross-dimensional items may not be common, but you can find them.
The answer is Oversoul Witch's Hat.
-From the period of 27 Oct 2017 to 29 Oct 2017: Why have one when you can have two! But you'll need to add them to get it. You should always be prepared to go out into the elements. One Mr. Burns and his trusty sidekick Smothers probably can help you with that. The price, though, is a bit of cash out of your pocket and a stride that may make you look like a pigeon.
The answer is Crossblades of the Fire Dragon.
-From the period of 30 Oct 2017 to 2 Nov 2017: Is the bark worse than the bite, or is it the bite? You may not see them very often, but it'll brighten your day if you do. Sometimes you have to fight the flora, sometimes you have to fight the fauna, and sometimes you have to fight a hybrid of both.
The answer is Wolfwood Blade.
-From the period of 3 Nov 2017 to 5 Nov 2017: Put stuff in, take stuff out! Bring it home for some decoration, if you like. Just know, it only likes two bands. It woodn't make a great aquarium though.
The answer is Barrel.

Hey guys! We've been developing this thread for a while, as we thought it would be something fun for you all to do. Because it's new, there are likely to be a few questions about things, so if you've got any questions, feel free to ask them! I'll do my best to give a clear answer, and if we find a large number of questions keep getting asked, we'll likely add an FAQ to the first post.

I decided to give you a bit of an easier riddle for this week, since we're doing a bit of a shorter week, starting in the middle. Normally you'll have a full week, starting Sunday, to get a riddle, though we may adjust this time frame depending on how quickly you are able to solve the riddles. So have fun with this! We hope you enjoy it, and maybe learn a few things about AQW in the process.

So will it always be a piece of equipment or a misc item? Or will there also be scenery related riddles? Although i guess those have a harder time being precise, because there can be many same looking scenery.

@Metakirby: As of right now, it's anything. Could be an equippable item, could be a Misc item, could be a map, monster, NPC (for this one, if the NPC is found in more than one map, we'd be looking for the one in a specific map), an event, it could even be a cutscene. If we find people are struggling too much to a certain type correct, we may cut those from the list of possibilities, but until we get a better idea of how certain ones will work out, anything goes. The only thing that probably won't show up are specific quests, since those are just too difficult to do feasibly.

@DarkLore: Someone giving an answer doesn't necessarily mean it's the correct answer, it just means that's what they think the answer is. They might be right, or they might be wrong. Some clues may only give one possible answer, but some parts could be interpreted in different ways that could lead to different answers. You won't know for sure if someone's answer was correct until we reveal the final answer, so once someone answers, it isn't necessarily the end of it. We'll also be having different difficulties of clues, so some answers may take nearly the full week to figure out what each part means.

 After having looked at Metakirby's answer, I really don't see how there could be a different way the riddle could be interpreted (I was thinking of that same thing before I clicked on the link).

Here's what I think the riddle means:

Reaving is bound to happen in war. This can refer to the name of the weapon, Savage Reaver. Also, it drops from the monsters in the Bloodtuskwar map.

Chaos cannot be trusted to hold it forever. The monsters that drop it are all charroupted versions of the bloodtusk animals.

A mere pittance you will receive for such an ancient treasure. The description of the item says that it's a really old weapon of the past. That's the "ancient treasure" part. The "mere pittance" part is because the weapon sells for only 250 gold.

We're not trolling you. The description of the weapon says that it's a horc weapon, not a troll one.

Just a reminder, today is the last day for submissions on this particular riddle. Tomorrow at vague o'clock I will put in a new riddle (I'm 3 hours behind server time, so I'm not sure exactly when I'll put up the new riddle, though it'll likely be between 10 to noon server time).

 I just so happened to check on the forums as Shadowhunt updated the post and thought to myself "might as well get it over with".
This one gave me a little more trouble than the last one though, as the clues "could" be iterpreted in a couple different ways. The answer was actually the first thing that came to mind, but it seemed way too obvious at first (untill i looked at the alternatives).

My initial thought was what Metakirby posted, but then thought there could be another so I went with my second choice of This Monstrosity It's a dog (alien) from the Lore Trek merge shop. The ack part of the riddle lead me to believe it's referring to disgust and the pet does look kinda ugly. While it is a dog it won't replace Daimyo and the Trek part comes from Lore Trek.

There are a few reasons behind this thread.
- Trying to foster a bit more interaction between the community here, as there are sort of disparate groups but everyone plays AQW so in theory everyone could help solve the riddles
- It's something for people to do if they've done most of the things available in the game (a similar concept to the Challenge Thread)
- There are a lot of items, maps, etc. that people may not have heard of or seen, and if one of them is a potential answer or answer, maybe someone will find something new about the game
- Having fun!

The riddle for this week can be found near the bottom of the post, in size 2 italic font. For this week, it is "ACk! Artix would never replace Daimyo! The trek wouldn't be worth the trouble anyways."

 I still think Aura Knight is either on the spot or close to the answer.

Ack refers to the kind of disturbing/ugly look of the dog. As Aura Knight put it, it's the sound of disgust.
Artix would never replace Daimyo refers to it being a dog, but cannot replace daimyo as companion.
The trek wouldn't be worth the trouble anyways refers to the curreny needed to obtain the pet (loretrek tokens).

My logic behind the clues were:
Ack: I will admit, i don't know how this fits into my answer.
Artix would never replace Daimyo: because the shop is called "the replicator" meaning it wouldn't be the same Daimyo, but a replica of Daimyo.
The trek wouldn't be worth the trouble anyways: it defnitely has something to do with space in 1 way or the other, i thought it was because you would need to go into the space station to get the materials needed which is not worth the trouble for the fear of spooks/death

New riddle has been posted! Had a couple interesting answers and good guesses, but nobody did end up with the correct one. So feel free to discuss what the clues might mean for last week's, as it may give you some insight into how the clues are structured or made. Just be sure to indicate which riddle you're talking about.

 Okay, this week's riddle. According to a trusted source (definitely not Wikipedia), the highest pH level for a base is 14. That makes the base level of the weapon level 15. Sadly, I don't know what the rest of the clues mean.

Edit: Typing in search terms with quotation marks makes the search engine search for those words together, not separately. So typing in "base level: 15" into the AQWwiki search brings up a list of all articles with those consecutive words together.

About last week's riddle: the "AC" in "ACk" is capitalized, referring to the Pink Trobbolier Pet being AC tagged.
