PvP Connection Lost, Solution!

Hey,

To every one who gets lots of losses, becoz, of DC's(diss-connection) .... i got a simple solution to it....

What if, each day you got 3 runs/DC's as forgiven matches?? i mean, each day u get 3 free runs.... you leave battle, get a DC, coz of your net, or coz of ED(that is server crash, update..etc) the 1st 3 DC's of each day, what if they don't count towards you record??

It would be really nice and fair to the players, who always lose coz of "Luck" , i mean 3 matches, each day....

and to make this feature a little more fair to the players who actually get a loss coz of DC's .... the 1st 3 DC's , works as free run, *only if the ED shows this on the screen " Connection Lost - Attempting to Reconnect" ...what ever it show's , when you get a DC... this way if a player run's away(i.e change server, close tab...etc would get a lose, this way you could 90% be sure, that the person not getting a lose is the one who got DC...i mean, you could make out if the person actually got a DC or did he run??...

I have no idea, how hard this could be to code, but it sure is the best solution to DC's .....


So, what do you guys think.....??

I support. This seems like a great idea to help solve the "DC Epidemic", as I call it. This would be a great time for it, because of all the lag currently occurring.

I play 3 Juggs a day.

Whenever I lose, I log out.

100% Jugg record...

This is precisely why we can't do a system like this. Very easy to abuse.

Better solution is for us to do everything we can to prevent random DCs or kicks (which we are working on!).

The feature i suggested only works, if the system say this " Connection Lost - Attempting to Reconnect" and this is only shown when you "actually" get a DC, tested out pretty much, it happens when the battle laggs and then dissconnects ,

^ you do this, you lose ;O, simple, it only works when it really happens(that is the DC, how do the system comes to know??? well, simple, it say "trying to reconnect, and I'm sure, froth you know this, that this is not shown when you log out, change server or close tab)

The main problem with this is that it's near impossible to tell whether or not a player has legitimately disconnected or just closed their browser / Restarted their modem (Both situations would still come up as "Lost connection" to the game making it look like just a regular disconnect.) Meaning that it would definitely be abused by those who really care about their Win - Loss ratio but don't play as much.

^ Maybe eventually the administrators and staff will figure out a way to tell if its a legitimate disconnect, because in a real disconnect, the tab/browser stays open and it says reconnecting, and when people log out the game doesn't have to attempt to reconnect. When somebody closes their tab/browser their isn't any game still open to reconnect.

Exactly.... you close your tab, log out , change server or plug out your net connect, all this stuff don't show, ""Connection lost - Attempting to reconnect""

The auto reconnect only works when you lagg or your net dissconnects for a sec(coz of weak signal ) and reconnects the next moment and this is the time when it says ""Connection lost - Attempting to reconnect"" and actually reconnects *if your net is working.... so the idea of "plug out your net connect" fails here

Not supported, I bet the dev's think the same. We had "Leave battle" in Beta, and everybody abused the feature, especially in 2vs2. What I'm relating to is if the game doesn't know if you got Disconnected or just closed the browser. All it knows is you logged off.

All you have to do is when you are losing you can turn your internet off then turn it back on and it will say "connection lost - attempting to reconnect"
i just tried it.

You shouldn't have the title as "PvP Connection Lost, Solution", there's no solution here. This is a Suggestion. Plus redirecting people here with Disconnecting issues do them no help, they're still going to Disconnect because this doesn't help them, you're just asking for support.
