I seem to be having some problems with my inbox. Apparently my pms are turned off/disabled, or so I've been told.

Looking at my profile now and it says I have pms on. I've checked my inbox and I have just over 50%, so it's not full. I was just talking with someone earlier today, as well. I'm not really sure why this is happening. Does anyone here have any idea on what is wrong?

I just sent myself a PM and it worked just fine, so I'm assuming something went wrong on the other person's side. Still, it shouldn't have said that my pms were disabled if it were his problem.

Edit: Seahawk just sent me a PM and nothing seemed to go wrong. Even though I believe it fixed itself somehow, I'd still like to know if anyone here knows exactly what happened.

Your PMs are definitely enabled in your profile, so that's not your issue.

I can send you a PM as well without receiving an error, so I know you are capable of receiving them. Granted, that's not always the best proof because as an administrator I believe I get to over-ride most PM restrictions, but it does let us know that you can receive messages.

Out of curiosity, do you possibly have the person who tried to PM you blocked? That would prevent them from being able to PM you.

I don't believe he's blocked. I have 0 people blocked at the moment.

I can PM you with no problem.

Maybe the person who told you is just joking with you. We never know.

The person was the one having the problem, not you, Ruc I assume.
Since we can PM you with no problem, then there was no problem at all.
You, yourself had tested.
Don't take the issue very serious.
