It would be good if a faction was able to grant 'Day Release'

Including the leader.
ATM if a faction leader wants to go and help another faction, they have to disband.

Why not have it so that, may be you have to sign somewhere, as a helping faction first.

Then you get the extra button to enable day release, for ANY player in that faction.

Often I would have like to help a younger, newer faction for a day. It is not possible the way things are atm.

ADDED THIS PART
It could be limited to one for each faction. Example. If they get one person marked as 'A Helper' they are unable to get any more that day.

i support, since u get more freedom and help out new factions that needs experienced faction leaders to help them lead a way. and the more freedom u get in Epicduel the more fun it is.

Helping another faction is actually a dishonorable fact. Factions should compete with each other, not dummy around.

Otherwise a certain player would attract other elite leaders to push for some faction achievement or title. A faction could end up gaining titles only by hiring other hard-working players, not by its own trustful and loyal members.

Sorry, not supported. Helping generally is a good thing, but not applicable in this case, in my opinion. What's the point of marrying a certain woman, if you plan to have kids with a different one?

lol depends on the faction leader, no faction leader will b dumb enough to help exile if they are legion, or help legion if they are exile. and no one will b dumb enough to help a already winning faction. its all up to the player.

LOL Well we all have different views on helping.

As always it is down to the choice of the individual , to help or not.

Mine are not so extreme as (What's the point of marrying a certain woman, if you plan to have kids with a different one) But there is nothing stopping you helping them. You do not have to love, marry or have children with to be able to help someone.

I think it would be nice to be able to 'kick start' or give a small helping hand. :)

That's what i was wondering to. So if you help out another faction and they get world domination cheevo would the person helping out also get one? In case he/she doesn't have it already.
Other than that it's actually a good idea. I like the idea of helping out other (more active) fac's without having to leave your own. Support.

@Fay: that comparison had nothing to do with helping. It was more like What's the point of someone trying to gather loyal members when he can just beg comical and you to join for a couple of days?

I meant that this kind of helping is not honorable - since it discourages faction loyalty, and it would be abused.
Just think about how many randoms will beg you to join in, just for a day?

^now there is already ppl asking for someone else to join their faction, but this can just change their question from join to help. and think about how many battles we could do in a day nearly most of us have school and homework, so we are just giving new factions a helping hand.

Supported. Inactive members should be able to be kicked if they are inactive for 30 days without a token penalty.

Everyone's got a good point, I'm not sure if to support or not.

But I guess I have to Support this idea, sice it's probably best for everyone else (no significant impact in my case).
