Running from 2v2 is the biggest problem (from my point of view) in the game today. It always has been. People talk about the match-making not being fair, but it makes no difference if you just end up in a juggernaut battle you didn't ask for!

Quitting 2v2 should get you banned AND/OR should leave your body behind, so you can be - as Kimberly so politely puts it - a meat-shield for your helpless team mate you just bailed on.

Why is nothing being done about this?

So if my internet goes down randomly I can expect a ban? Sounds fair to me.

Ok this goes into the suggestion part of the forums since you want an idea to be added into the game.

However like ND mallet not supported.

Yes people quitting in the middle of a fight is annoying, but at the same time they can't track who actually quits and who get's disconnected even if it is obvious to you. Also the meat shield idea would fail as well.

Once the person finds out that no one is there all they will do is attack you, and then go after the meat shield, and if both quit then it will just hold the battle up longer.

Nope Mother.
They can track.
Last time i was on Rage mode leaving about 10+ times
in 2v2.
AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?
I COULDN'T PLAY 2V2 FOR 1 WHOLE HOUR.
All I had to do was sit there for 1 hour and not allowed to play 2v2 (NEITHER 1V1).

@blaze That happens when you leave any type of battle multiple times. You will still get that if you disconnect purposely or not.

@ND
Have ED adopt something similar to TF2's Matchmaking System. TF2 has a feature added that, if player "leaves" or "ditches" match, if they dont relog on in 3 minutes, they get banned from playing game for certain period. If they do relog on, they get option to join back in game with previous hp and ep.

@hypedxlord

You expect me to wait while the player who left the game takes his own time to log back into the game? No thank you. Who knows if he even plans to relog in the first place.

how about if they make something like: if you quit battle 10 times( per day?) you get like a ban ? Your internet can go down once, twice...but 10 times? Then get a better internet provider. player from game don't have to pay because you can't have a good internet

yes. a way to report them is a good idea.

getting disconnected half way through your turn, so you magically still hit the guy even though you've disappeared... fine. internet disconnect, computer crash, spilling your diet red bull on your keyboard, aliens. whatever.

leaving after 3 seconds in, after having seen the level 35 on the other team. thats running. not a disconnect.

you can argue the innocent all you like, but we all know the difference. if you disconnect and get reported once, shame on us. if you repeatedly run and get reported 10 times and get banned, shame on you!

You all can do what I do and not play it at all. 2 vs 2 is by far the most unbalanced mode, you are constantly being partnered with non variums, lower lv players or noobs who have no battle experience. Stick to npcing, that is the only thing that's fair about this game.

If they had to wait for me for 3 mins, I would leave, return, leave, return
Especially if they were going for daily 1v1 xD
I would waste 1 hour of their time xD

Firstly, we would never ever ban someone for doing this, because there are so many possibilities that lead to people leading. If the internet cuts out, the game would read it as you just leaving the game; if you accidently nudged the f5 button, or you click refresh while moving the cursor; all of them not the players fault, and we cannot ban for this.

Secondly, the whole concept of having them replaced by a robot, or a dummy, or something of that sort is a good idea. The implementation of it is not so easy though, it would take quite a overhaul on the 2v2 battle engine, for it to allow such a feature, and that means it requires a lot of time.

As has already been stated, the discussion part of this on 2v2 is not really something that can be discussed without flaming of people who do this, etc. - the suggestion part belongs in the suggestions section of the board, but I would also like to note that this suggestion has been made quite a few times, and has already been put on the list of things for us to consider!
