Is there an option for that instead of seeing <this> every time I post something?

 As far as I know, no. The page has a reason, though: to inform you whether your message was successfully posted or not, due to either a forum glitch, locked thread while you were typing, consecutive posting, etc.

 I don't believe so. There are options to return to a message or the forum it resides in, but both options still show the screen you referred to. It's kind of the default "loading" screen for your post.

Ok I see, thanks. It just seems a bit repetitive having to click view message everytime.
