Well i just got done sketching up a new bot for ED, http://twitpic.com/b9i02x , and i also thought up the stats and special for fun.
The special is to have something new for a bot so i thought id get the players thoughts on it and the stats. *already put in sugg. thread*

Type: Physical...Damage: 11-15 + (Technology Bonus) + (Focus Level x 6)....Improves With: Technology....Special Abilities: Deals a DoT effect of 5 health points. Lasts 4 turns....Requirements: None *Note: Special attack is energy damage and unblockable, deals 70% damage and is 1 time use only per battle*

Normal attack is a slash from the tail/blade (physical/blockable) Special attack is a breath of fire from the mouth (energy/unblockable/70% damage)

The stats are not bad, not at all. The potential problem with this DoT could be total health % losses between 2 or more differently built players. For example, on a 95 health player, 20 health is about 20%+ of their total health. Against a player with 140 health or 180 health, 20 health is about 14%+ and 11%+ respectively. The greater the player's total health, the less effective this DoT and poison skill will be. And because of that, unfortunately these players will lack D/R and replace that with extreme Strength or Support. This is honestly not your problem, Reki, but poison mechanics.

If you are able to suggest %-based on total health poison on any player, I would recommend that. For example, the total damage from poison may be 10% or 20% of maximum health. On a 100 health player, after 4 turns, this will be 10 and 20 health damage respectively.

I would have to agree with depressed void on this one. Those people with high health won't hurt from this bot, while those with low health will. If it did 5% damage each turn (the effect of the robot) then it would be much more effective.

Also the ability should only be 1 time use per duel since otherwise it would be OP as people would spam this bot's ability. But all in all I support this since Bots are my favorite items in the game.

I disagree with one time use, because, if a battle is long enough to use it once or twice, you may as well use Infernal Android

I like it, I say the poison DoT does 20% of their total health over 4 turns

Every bot has a situation where it works best. Plus making it one time use would make it more strategic since you wouldn't be able to spam it whenever you get the chance.

On topic

Also the ability shouldn't be usable when your opponent is already poisoned cause if it can stack with toxic gernade, and venom claws it would be 5% up whatever the poison level is of those attacks and it would OP the hunter class and Tech merc.

I agree that a % based DoT would be more suited so i changed that accordingly to your guy's feedback in my suggestion.
Also it is a 1 turn only move per battle...i forgot to type that in there so thats my bad. Fixed that.
And finally it will not be stackable, its meant to read as poison damage just like toxic grenade and venom strike so it wont stack.

Awesome Idea!!! Would buy that if I had enough varium left..... O well :/ It might not be varium but either ways I think it should be accepted.
