I am really hoping Omega will come out. I just can't wait! I didnt like Delta phase very much, as my favorite was Beta.

Yeah I can't wait for it because if it releases a new promo,Ima buy it My fave phase was Delta because of the awesome releases like new classes blah blah blah

I can't wait for omega to come as well. The delta knight will be worth something finally, and hopefully they don't kill too many features when it does come.

 Cannot wait for Omega! I'll expect we'll do what we did before Delta released, at Oz 7, and have a huge gathering :) Great times, great times. Interested to see what will be new in the phase though, could be all sorts of possibilities.

if Omega is the final release of the game, are leaderboards being reset? will classes be balanced? will the staff stop listening to idiotic facebook users?

It doesn't matter what phase this game is in. It's the same stuff being released over and over again. This game has been frozen in time and that's why I like it so much. I started in 2009 and not much as changed.

@ PivotalDisorder

Why would leaderboards be reset? The people there worked extremely hard to get there. If leaderboards are reset, then does it mean that our wins will also start off at 0?

My favorite phase was gamma because all the classes were balanced, and delta for new weapons and originallity

@Angels: not entirely :) a Hall of Fame page could be added to the epicduel website for the all time leaderboards.

if ED has been in test phases this whole time, then surely the leaderboards needs to be reset for the final release so that they aren't filled with
wins earned during those test phases, in which certain class/build combos were overpowered and players were able to farm tons of free wins.

 My best times were probably in gamma, but I still favor beta more, probably because there were no enhancements, since enhancements are overpriced but are required to have a good chance of winning these days...

I agree with Pivotal Disorder about resetting the leaderboard, especially when BMs/BHs were way too overpowered for their 2-3 months that they were in reign.

i do not support the leaderboard reset, even if its the OP build/class that got the lead they still spent their time to get there in the first place, so now you guys are just being greedy...think about those players that worked hard for it...what would you do if you just got your salary and the wind just blew it away.

Would i like it to come ? If it's gonna bring back something , IDK , um , lemme think -- oh yeah , BALANCE , then heck yes!

My Fave Phase ? Gamma - 'coz this is the phase i started playing ED .

@Trizz: each player would keep his win/loss record, just the leaderboards would be reset.
those on the leaderboards would be immortalised on the website, for dominating during the test phases.

if they are finally releasing the game and bringing us out of major test phases, it seems logical AND fair to start
fresh and let everyone have a chance of earning a place on the leaderboards. right now no one can really make
it on to them, because of the massive headstart gained by players who used OP build/class combos to farm.

I don't support the reset while the game is so unbalanced though ofc. I don't support final release at all like this.

Might as well have a separate leaderboard that will never change - All-Time 1v1/2v2/etc Alpha-Omega

well phase leaderboards were suggested by Lord Nub a long time ago, and I think they are a better idea than resetting altogether.

I also have to agree with Lord Nub idea, no one will be ever able to catch up with comicalbiker since he is just way ahead of everyone.

And if you go to the dailys, he isnt that good anymore, he losses more then certain other players.
Just because he was here first and played 24/7 hes on there. Not because hes the best player.

so now you all are getting jealous, i think you want this for your own benefits. you should be happy that comicalbiker dont play as often so you have a chance to catch up. as i said before you all are greedy people. how would you feel that if you were comicalbiker and all of your time's worth of ingame record goes from 1st to a millionth?

Hes on daily 1vs1 every single day if you look on it.

And yes he should get a reward for what he has accomplished, i dont say it just needs to be gone completely.
But now, no one else can catch up with him the coming 2/3 years, even if you play 24/7.

so it wouldnt matter to you would it, you can still get on the daily 1v1 leaderboard but not the all time leaderboard...you just need to catch up slowly...

And that is exactly the point of the All-Time Leaderboard.

I remember when comicalbiker was one of the few mercs on the leaderboard on 6th place in the time of strength bounty hunters and heal looper mages. I thought he would never be able to get to the top 3 places (and I think he actually gave up/quit for a short amount of time), but look at him now.

New phases are usually ED's best releases so of course I'm looking forward to it. Favorite was definitely Beta. Sure players are able to call certain builds overpowered, but I believe that was a time that utilized the most skill to win a match. Most just didn't know how to do it so complained as they do now about everything.

Beta end of.

About the LB getting reset.. reset it back to beta so I get rank 10 back. xD
Only kidding, comical worked hard to be number 1 & he should stay number 1.
Resetting it cause people can't catch up to him, then do 2v2 or jug battles.

I retired in beta & comical is still playing like he's just started. The money, time & dedication he's put into this game resetting the LB would just be such a slap in the face. Same goes for 2v2 & jug. They've all put the time in to be number 1 it should stay that way.
(I doubt they've even thought of resetting it anyway.)
