 Here is a christmas gift idea...5000 free varium.It would be a great promo idea plus help those who need it.

Is this a free gift for all players, or is it something you would get in a promo item?

If it is the later I could support it only if it is in the 10K package. Any other package and you would be getting more varium then what normally comes within the smaller three packages and the second largest you would be getting the equal of the 10K package.

Or maybe they could try a rewards shop as seen in AdventureQuest. Oh wait nevermind... Infernal Locker Key.

uh how about no, it would be like giving out free money($25) to those that bought the promo, so this should never happen, 15k credit or a promo weapon option is enough. i would only partly agree if it is only 500 free varium with the promo package. and when you get the promo package you already have 10k varium in your inventory, why would they need any more? also if you mean free varium for everyone the game would go bankrupt

Instead of this maybe a christmas event running for a certian ammount of time which will allow all players of all levels to get a set ammount of varium and credits maybe 500 varium and 5000 credits? it wouldnt be doing much harm and it may actually encourage more players to buy varium once they experience first hand what it can do.

Or just give a mission that gives a free item that could either :
* Give an access to a shop / area
* Gives discounts on certain Rares or
* Gives decent Rarity Points .

Its the season of giving right? what a better way to kick off omega than to hand out small ammounts of varium and credits to those willing to do the required mission? Not only will this encourage players to become more active but also show people that the new update is not profit bassed, Im not sure about AE i have always found them to try and generate as much revenue as possible but before the merger Epicduel was a player bassed game, the funds raised were used for hosting and mataining the game, i have always admired Titans work and his generosity with the time and effort he puts into the game and i know that AE will think this could cut the profits but in fact it would generate a higher profit, kind of like a varium tester to intise more people to purchase varium?

nope, not supported, christmas is not a big event as the AE 10 year anniversary. so no varium should be awarded but a mission to get a weaker than average but varium weapon should do the job.
asking for free stuff is already too much, and 500 varium is still too much. its either missions or nothing

Im not on about free varium im on about a mission like they did with The ebil corp war but set the maximum you can receive to 500 or even 250 per person aswell as sufficient credits? or as you said a varium weapon that people will find usefull in The new update if they have never had varium before, maybe even a vehicle that is customised to the christmas theme?

Ofcourse is the prize is a vehicle then it should be made untradeable and one per account.

the vehicle should cost 25k credits, thats one huge discount

considering it would be a seasonal rare if it is implemented you get a key to santas workshop/ inventory kind of like the birthday bot, the bike should cost 5k - 7.5k credits in my oppinion aswell as the christmas items being located in this shop, the mission shouldnt be to hard maybe delivering Gifts around Delta V to varius NPC's and in return Santa or the chosen NPC would give you the Key, For the Vehicle i think Santas sleigh pulled by bionic reindeer sounds suitable to fit the whole post appocolyptic theme of Epicduel.

 5K is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much.. Perhaps, like Void said, something along of Gifts in AQ. So you could buy Aux Giftbox for discounted price (50%) and it'd open up to whatever Devs would have in stock. Whether it'd fit your build or not wouldn't be a problem. And different level ranges too so everyone would get something out of it.

@trans. thats a good idea also, 5k is wayy tooo much, it equals 156 1v1 battles.

 I meant the 5K Varium he suggested. xD Small amount are fine *look Infernal War* but not everyone would get a good use out of them.

Also with Gift Box idea, since items will be useable at all Levels, there could be one universal box for everyone and people could upgrade it as they go along. Although that means Lvl 35 players would upgrade all the way from Lvl 1 instead, unless they could be opened by level and done in ranges of 5 (so Lvl 1 box would open as Lvl 30 item for Lvl 30-35 players). Of course it's when Omega comes and we can upgrade our weapons!

You want a gift for christmas, ask your parents for power up cards to buy varium. If you are looking for one in-game, i suggest they do another bike or something, but that is all. No varium whatsoever! that is a horrible idea and not supported at all. Especially 5000 varium?! If you are going to post in suggestion forum please make things that are actually possible.

 I am afraid that a gift of 5000 Varium would be incredibly extreme, unfair on those who have bought Varium, and prevents a lot of people from purchasing it, since they have gained it for free. I am going to lock this suggestion up, since if we do choose to give something out for christmas, it will be something we decide on, not something we really need suggestions on :)
