I used to be a Avid ED player (founder :P) in the past but I strayed from ED when I started to see its release style dip into needing to purchase large amounts of Var in order to maintain the "best" build. I love the art style of ED, the people making it, and the story line's premise. I just wasn't able to fund my account anymore. With this new update, so many needed core stat features are being added and it seems to have taken a bold step in the direction of giving non-var players the ability to fight var players on a equal playing field. This is HUGE...and it must have been a tough decision for a development team who relies on funding from devoted players to stay afloat. This change, if it works as intended, should effectively remove the old "pay to win" stat and item system ED fostered (Out of pure circumstance, I can only assume) and finally allow the most devoted players to be able to match a var player's power. Now its pay for time, not pay to win. This is what I always hoped ED would transition into. So, I really just wanted to say thanks to the ED team. It was painful watching ED loose players and causing community rage with its past system when the game itself had so much potential. Now I can see ED moving towards becoming one of AE's most popular and fun games, and more.
