Well title says it all.

Will this option be good for the game of will it be bad.

I think its just bad, you wont be able to tell if someone has a certain special like Massive Strike.
You will never be able to adjust your battle strategy into it.
Like they have Delta Knight and they suddenly do Chairmans's Fury.
Or you go flying by a basic wrist blade.

But, another point is, you can surprise the other opponent by this.
But still this will be bad, and i think not much people will like this.

What do you think, will it be good or bad?

cant judge it yet.

but i am making build concepts based on the possibilities.
but cant make the builds until omega.

i will probably start out with TLM, then move to tech mage, then back to BH.

As long as the abilities are new abilities and weaker than naturally occurring abilities on items like the Mark of Azrael, it should be fine.

A new ability for example could be converting your total percentage of the rage bar into energy ONCE.

nah thats bad cause BM and BH already regain HP so giving them energy regain would be OPed.

I think that Ability swap is a great feature. Hopefully many new abilities will come, for variums and credit-only.
Yeaa thx to that feature we can have A LOT new skills that can expand gameplay experience, like more build
possiblies, more strategy, diversity in battles, new animations!

Huh?
They said special abilities to weapons not armors..So you cannot have chariman's fury/delta's curse on your weapons..

and with other abilites,you can't do any tactical action regarding weapon abilities (aside from stun ofcourse,which I doubt that they will list it)..
A critical strike is a critical stike,with massive strike or not..doesn't matter.
Same goes for mark of azreal,you can crit without it..also the percentages are a matter of luck,nothing more.

I hope that I made my point.

Yeah it would be cool, but like having a tech mage with mineral armor and smoke screen, but the idea is good, since you dont have to expend levels to open useless abilities. Also that would go well for sword-users for change things like cheap shot, fire ball, etc.

I believe weapons which currently have a special wont be able to be customized. They will probably keep that skill/effect permanently. Also, the special would be kept unique for that weapon/armour.

We wont be able to change Infernal Interdictor special for example. And probably it will be impossible to give "Massive Strike" to other weapons. Which would mean Promo weapons/armour would still be unique.

I know I might get flamed for this but...

it's too much variety...
unless they diminish the specials AND let EVERY information of a player's build show.

It's too early for me to know if it's good or bad, I'll have to wait till it's been around for at least a week. Then I'll be able to tell you...
You can't just judge it by what you've read/seen, who knows, it might even be a very useful thing! Just give it a while before you can give your opinions! =D
But, by what I've seen, it looks like it will bring lots more creativity to the game! I'd rather have this then versing the same old boring strength builds! This system would make matches more exciting! =D
