There once was a place, on Delta V, in world 8, where all players would converse during their free time. Everyone knew that this was the meeting place for inhabitants of Delta V, where they discussed builds, the game itself and many other things. However, with the truncation of world 8, along with the introduction of new features, and certain other things, this location ceased to be the meeting place, and instead Oz World 7 had replaced it, although it was never quite the same.

Discuss what you think about this almost monumental location, and its place in ED's future. Do you think that it could even be transformed into a Rialto type of place; where players could exchange/buy various weapons, or maybe just a place where they could aid each other?

beacuse most people prefer to use other locations and i wouldnt say no one comes anymore i have seen quite a few come recently.

World 8 is filled with desolation, I am there right now, I would prefer that there be a fixed location for everyone to go to, and the possibility of a high-level only area has been discussed in the past, obviously additional incentive to visit it must exist, such as special shops.

i definitely missed world 8 from back in beta/gamma.
much better than today's world 7.

Fame is supposed to be for people who do a good thing, who are good at something or just popular.
The Fame that we know, is something different.

The people with the most fame arent good at something or popular, no it are beggars.
It are people who spam all the chat logs diying to get a fame.

Ok, there are some exeptions like Comicalbiker and other All-timepeople on the LB.
But most people above 2000 are only beggars.

@mysterion i have to agree with you on this one, when others say the word fame it automatically pops into out mind that it must relate to someone that is well know, popular, strong and contributes to the community, but yeah the new fame feature is totally ignoring the meaning of the word fame.

The thing about Fame is that it's not exactly living up to it's name . Why , you asked ? Do you only get it by begging only ? Not at all !

 Since I first joined shortly after Beta ended, I never got to experience this World 8 that everyone praises so much. However, I did experience World 7 starting in Gamma and it was great until the Fame feature came to Delta V. That night changed everything! World 7 has never been the same.
