 Sounds like the biggest problem w/ omega is gonna be that varium people won't have much power over non-varium people. This will lose the creators a lot of money and
make a lot of people upset.

Ergh...well, least it's more balanced. All that varium is needed is for convenience, that's all

The biggest problem with Varium originally was that it gave power to begin with. It should have never been that way in the first place. I don't know how many people upgraded to varium just because they were sick and tired of being punching bags rather then because they enjoyed the game. Now Varium is doing what it should have been from the start. Give exclusive promo's and features for players who support the game without overpowering them.

@mother1 yup what you said, but the devs are taking a huge risk with this, they said so themselves, so lets just wait and see.

A risk worth taking.

The game will change to better, regardless. Actually, I believe some players were disencouraged to buy varium, because items got outdated really quick. That made varium items not worth enough.
I was one of those players.

Now, it seems to me varium will buy you items that you can use forever, with unique specials included! I will gladly buy something good that doesn't get outdated.
Who knows, they might even gain more from this. Existing players may find varium more usefull now, and new players will join Omega, being potential buyers.

Well in my opinion its the opposite. As items wont get outdated anymore, I barely see any point in buying new items unless they are cool. That = 10k varium pack will last for half a year.

I think its good :)


Currently varium wepons depreciate to be less powerful then credit alternatives in around 6 months- 1 year.


So if varium players dont like this at least now they know there gear isnt gonna depreciate to useless level anyway.

well they devs will not wanna discourage varium players so they will make easy ways for them in-game not only for winnig battles but also for other epicduel related things

 Actually I see this as a win for the Dev's. You are no longer going to be buying promo after promo just to get that extra two stat points to be on top(Which is completely stupid in my honest opinion) and now Varium is used to buy time and get some rare abilities that will only be on promo weapons.

I suspect the biggest varium only weapon ability will be mutating which is a worthwhile investment because you are getting three weapons for the price of one after all.

Also because you are no longer playing $50 every two months less people will get upset over that and stick with the game longer which could lead to higher profits just because of the time spent in the community and more people willing to pay because it won't be "outdated" with the next promo. Not to mention there will still be things that only a varium user can do but these will mostly be luxuries like name change and special head models

War kills the way you earned them should have never been introduced to the game. It was basically the biggest pay to win thing in the game. Would have been much better if you got them by paying with battle tokens so all could have a fair shot at warlord.

The majority of US varium players dont want it to be pay for power, whats the fun in that? i certianlly would like to see some hard working credit players at the exact same standard as me, more of a chalange, currently i win about 90% of battles( when im not messng about) now that i have newer weapons and enhancements, thats without even using my skill tree and well thats just plain boring.....

 As I said before removing the gap will bring skill back to the game and as G00NY's video showed varium is saving a very large sum of credits which in terms means an even larger span of time

People will still buy Varium; just see AQWorlds! I also suggest we withhold judgement until Omega actually comes.

I lost money. Money.

At least I'm happy that the gap will become closer. There are people who already have a good build with a Non-Varium gear and they literally pwned me with my Bounty Hunter build. I do hope that the Enhancements being "removed" will give people with Varium a better choice in other things.
