I found that tech-abuse CHs and BHs are just a tad bit overpowered in a sense because as long as they go first, they can totally neutralize any class's offensive capabilities with a single, level 3+ EMP which takes 40-ish energy or even more! This can devastate BMs, especially since both hunter classes have debuffs, as well as TLMs who depend on healing in order to make focus builds and their tanking work. It's also an effective killer on TM focus as long as the hunter goes first, as by the time the TM caster gets to supercharge, they barely have enough energy to do anything. Overall, removing 40+ energy in a single turn with a move that costs around 15 energy and is unblockable is just a tad bit overpowered from what I'm seeing, particularly with str BHs who can stop classes from healing before they level 6+ massacre. Therefore, I'm suggesting that EMP work similarly to how frostbite does. It instantly takes 1/3 of the energy it says it will remove, and over the next 2 turns remove the rest of the 2/3 of total energy.

Example:
BH EMP removes cumulative total of 36 energy

Turn 1: BH goes first-uses EMP-Removes 12 energy on the spot
Opponent does something during their turn
Turn 2: BH attacks
Opponent loses another 12 energy
Turn 3: BH attacks
Opponent loses another 12 energy

nope, i am a bloodmage and i have absolutely no problem with them using EMP, all you need it one energy boosters and since bloodmages use skills that don't consume much energy, so the 25 energy boost and the leftover energy after being EMPed is enough to sustain you.
if you can't deal with them it is really something wrong about your build because if you plan everything out and got boosters they are really not much of a problem. so i suggest you make a few adjustments to your build before complaining that EMP is op, they do not deal damage and the opponent does not gain rage when they use it, so it is nothing close to op.

That is their build. That's how they want to do a normal Battle. Cinderella used EMP on me when I was a Mercenary and she took away 40 Energy Points. You get free turns to which your opponent does no damage. If you do not like it then you can always buy Energy Boosters or an Energy Pack.

Blood Mages have Skills that just ruin your opponents' Build. Even if you EMP them, they can still win. Most of the time, they have a Health Booster equipped.

Not much people uses emp grenade, strenght bounty hunters, who are the dominating the leaderboards always use the same build, massacre is enough desvatating to kill a mage with +30 defense matrix with a low strenght amount....

I dont like the idea, it would not only nerf strenght bounty hunters, it would also nerf the focus bounty hunters, focus bounty hunters have always been the most equilibred class in the game...

@Trizzz: I'd request that you don't use boosters as part of your build strategy (meaning you require them to win when fighting against certain builds) when trying to show your opinion because not everyone uses them. Less than 50% of BM focus people that I fight use boosters when losing majority of their energy. Supposing we're using the statistical majority, I doubt 50% of the level 35 population depend on boosters to win when fighting certain build types, especially since when using 2 boosters in a 1v1, you lose credits rather than gain them.

@Metallico: I don't suppose you fight that many focus BHs. The work against almost every opponent (pretty much the only build type they don't work well against is caster TM and focus CH) with a win ratio definitely as strong as strength BH, and I know for a fact that you think str BH is OP, so I don't see why you'd make the comparison. Unfortunately, I just have to suppose that most BHs will actually be autonomous and stop copying strength BHs so much when Omega comes in this scenario that I'm explaining (I'm not just complaining about all build type copying, particularly strength BH. Literally 95%+ of all level 35 BHs right now are strength).

an average lvl 1 emp does 25
compared to the average lvl 1 atom smash which does the same.
Why are you complaining? The same could be said for any class but mages, *if they go first they could totally neutralize blah blah...
Dont know what you are but i really dont think this skill should be nerfed :/

@exploding penguin boosters are there for a reason, and you don't encounter those builds often either, i hardly counter EMP builds, but i compliment them rather than complain because they use strategic methods in battle rather than using brute strength, so if you don't wanna spend a few pennies to assist yourself in winning then don't complain about other's builds.

I am currently a tech mage and I find no problem with EMP. It is annoying, but so is poison. It also increases the initiative to bring energy boosters.
