 Just got new DNs and i want to share the news to all other Ticket owners.

Good news:

Bad news:

Im a bit pissed off, they first promise us something and then just take it away.
And i dont have a chance now, since more people will participate.

Ok that really bites. While I don't mind more competition unless the tickets cost varium only it wouldn't be a reward for those who are paying to support the game. Plus like you would contridict the design notes posted yesterday if it turns out to be a credit based ticket.

 1. They never said they were selling the tickets for credits only.
2. They're only selling them in-game because they listened to many of us asking for a chance to participate without having to buy the Promo.

1. Did i say anything about buying it with credits? No i did not.
2. They first said it would be a special reward who pre-ordered, and now they changed that.
What if someone specially bought the ticket before these DNs so they can have a chance, and now they hear this?
I would be pissed off.

But now its raised with 1000 rating points, so in my opinion its more a new cheevo.

And they also did not said it would be only buyable with var, so how can you say it will cost varium only?

The staff said that it would defeat the purpose if they make it available to everyone and it won't be available to everyone because it will cost varium, so if you wanna participate you need to buy varium to get the ticket.

If it was buyable with creds, then it would be available to everyone, and it's not.

unless it cost 10000 varium... then it kind of wouldn't be fair, part of the main reason why people preorder was not only for the 2 for 1 deal, but for also the golden yeti ticket. As a matter of fact, this is the only reason why I preordered, because I only wanted the physical Omega promo. But seriously, I don't get the point of them doing this, since this will not be the last tourney the make, is kind of a slap to a majority of those who pre ordered.

I wouldn't mind if they cancelled the tournament and set up a lottery instead. AQW has lottery-type contests and so far I think it was the best compromise for keeping them as fair as possible.

Wait, did I say i wouldn't mind? I'd be very happy actually.

It is not mentioned anywhere so you are only speculating about it.
Pls stop with that, unless you have very accurate information about it said by a staff member.

And no, it will now be 2000 rating points, they are adding 1000.

Im saying that it's 1k ratings, Ik that they will be raising it by 1k to encourage the othe players to help more the wiki, So don't really need to pay attention to this cheevo stuff anyway.

It will cost varium, the staff said that it won't be available for everyone, if it cost credit's, then it will be available to everyone.

they also said the tickets were limited which could mean furst come first serve be it credits or varium just like limited rare items.

 Mother: This is why Im sure the ticket will be varium but im just 90% sure. Theres a 10% that it can be sold for credits, just because it's limited and only a few will get it, so it's the same thing.

 ^ That all depends on how much tickets they wanted to sell.

Lets just hope there wont be more then 250 tickets in total (yes the remaining are counted in that number).

why should there be any remainder any ways? I bought the promo ( mostly for the yeti's / weapons ) but the added perk of being able to get a golden yeti ( if int he top 100 ) was amazing now there telling me someone who didn't pay for the promo can get the yeti? how's that fair :/

 ^ It isnt, thats why im so upset.
I brought the promo mainly for the Golden Yeti (i already have enough weps) and the other yetis.

And now it will be available in-game?
Then i wouldnt have brought var in the first place since the other 2 yetis are also for credits.

What are you talking about ,250 tickets is a lot ,since there will be only 100 winners.

Because it's a new feature and that's one of the varium perks, early access. Just like the original juggernaught card.

It was originally a way to thank the paying players for supporting the game. Remember the paying player is already losing the power of stats, and the enhancements advantage so non variums can compete.

Also as stated it was originally stated that this would be a reward for those who preordered the promo. Many people brought the promo just for this. So now those people who did buy it for that purpose would feel ripped off especially if they make it a credit ticket.

I'm not complaining but from the sounds of omega non vars are going to be brought up to even footing or as close as with variums . i think thats quite good enough considering my point is i dont think the ticket for non vars is a good idea i mean come omega varium is going to be pretty much worhtless anyway . so their has to be something or no one would buy it . then EDs in trouble .

so really it isnt selfish
