Beta/ Gamma Tester

As most of us know, the Beta and Gamma Tester (also the Alpha Tester) follow the same detail for the Achievement.

Beta Tester: Awarded to players that participated in EpicDuel's Beta testing phases
Gamma Tester: Awarded to players that participated in EpicDuel's Gamma testing phase.

Since "Omega" will be a different gameplay for others, I think the description should be changed. If you were a person who played in Beta/ Gamma, you had to get the Achievement from an Achievement shop.
I want it to be changed since every time I look at it, I always think that it doesn't really deserve the "Awarded to players that participated... "

For my main Account (which I created in Gamma; Malicious Neos, Venexus and now Scyze), I didn't collect the Achievement since I was only playing AQW most of the time. I always feel "left out" since I didn't collect the Achievement.
I hope to see it change into something that makes more sense.

I think i agree with you neos.

having the achievement alone should not prove that your a Beta/Gamma players ...

I think it's fine the way it is.

It is after all called beta/gamma TESTERS.

which means if you actually spent time testing the phase then you would of probably got the achievement from the store.

If you were playing a different game but say created the account. You didn't really test the phase or hardly participated, so it is fair in my eyes if they didn't get the chooevo..

This is my opinion on the cheevos.

However I do support make some sort of date reference since when you started.

i agree with remorse, it is the reason why they said Gamma Tester: Awarded to players that participated in EpicDuel's Gamma testing phase, is because you have to participate in the phase and actually spend time to test/play most of its features, it only makes sense that way, so im sorry, i do not support this.

To be honest, I was here since the first day of Beta. I only created the master account in 2010. My original account was called SLNL. and I did pick the acievement for that character. I would also only play an hour a day.

Its the only thing I hate, the achievement's detail makes no sense. I've seen Level 1 people with the Gamma Tester achievement with out any battles. They surely didn't test it...
If you fully define "Awarded", you get this, "Give or order the giving of (something) as an official payment, compensation, or prize."
I did do some battles with this account but awarded seems weird.

@Remorse, I agree that it is fair if you didn't pick the achievement from the store, but the detail of the achievement isn't that good.
Maybe it is one thing you could say. "I was here from [Phase name] but I didn't get the Achievevment." There are certain things I hate about EpicDuel and this is one of them. One of the most valuable Achievements are not accurate.

those level1 accounts are made by higher leveled players who is aware of the cheevo, i had a level 1 gamma account with the gamme tester cheevo.

I understand your disappointment neos.

I'm sure if I were in your position I would be trying the same.

How about if you can prove which accounts are yours in special circumstances you can transfer the phase cheevos from one account to the other.

As long as it's done via pming the devs and not in game just so this isn't exploited with account scams.

@TRizZzCENTRINO, you cannot be 100% sure of it. Some of my old friends in the U.K would just make accounts and get the Achievement and leave it like that.

@Remorse, as my old maths teacher said, "if there is something you want to happen and there are rules preventing it to take place, you might not succeed in getting certain things." So basically, not going to happen.

SLNL. is linked with Scyze in my master account. It could happen sometime in the future. I'd say the chances of it happening is as same as discovering life away from Earth.

That's not a good motivated attitude.

You should always try if what your fighting for is reasonable.
Take me for instance I have been pushing for enhancements change for more then a year now.

Probably one of the most ,if not the,most to complain about it. And omega is proof it has paid of.

So far the most online time spent in a phase for me was Beta (levelling up from level 1 to level 30).

Saying all of this, I have a 2nd account from Beta which has 4wins 0 loses (from PvP) and she has both, Beta, Gamma and Delta cheevo's :P

 To be honest, if you make an account and explore the game and get the cheevo then you did test the game. You tested the map and NPCs as well as the achievement system. You may not have tested as much as others but you still tested.

ND, except, I knew where the cheevo was, so I just went there (and got it) - this was when I tested out tech mage, and hated it
