So ladies and gentlemen, how do you rate a player? Do you base it on there win/loss record? How well they "dress"? The way they speak, perhaps with a silver tongue?

Would you find a player with...lets say 10k wins and 5k losses much more respectable or a player with 10k wins and 2k losses much more respectable?

I rate a player based on the build and the ability to counteract moves that disrupt the normal strategy. Second, I look at their PvP record. 3rd, I look at their weaponry. If they have less than 3/5 weapon slots, I consider them "incapable for battle" because it is crucial to have 3 or more methods of dealing damage without energy.

I aim mainly for win rate

When I was TM, I made a build with 140 hp, 110 EP, then only equipped my armor, and the primary staff
It actually won more than it lost, and it was all just for some laughs
So, I don't base it on their equipment, I base it on their win rate, unless it is a select few I have chosen, such as NPC and BM abusing people, and so forth, who I don't respect aall too much for having a 95%+ win rate

And to me, a person is instantly considered "bad" if they have more losses than wins, if they can prove to me, however that their build works and they are good, then that first impression can fade

it all depends on their attitude and their creativity in choosing the right colors making them look awesome, if someone has got 19k wins and 5k losses = nothing to me, if they suddenly starts swearing and name calling because i defeated them or they are using a strength build/OP builds(without using multiple/different tactics). i also care about the colors each person chooses, sometimes the colors on the players can be rather unpleasant looking.
so thats what i think, personallity, attitude and color choices matters most to me when rating a player.

I base players on their behavior, willingness to work together with others (valuable in 2v2), win rate, build, counterattacks, etc. If it was a close match, I congratulate them. I don't base them on insanely high win rates because that smells like NPCing. I have met quite a few Fourmites but it seems they don't want to talk to me in battle or outside.

Just don't be surprised if I don't have a clue who you are, because that's happened a few times before ._.

How they talk (respectful, polite, nice, etc), and the creativity of their build.

I rate way to much on gear, but I do. Win ratio not so much, becuase NPCs ruin that. I dont really rate on strategy because at level 35 everyone knows how to play and what is the best move. There really isnt much strategy that no one knows.

Cheers iamawesome! I wonder what your name is now?

I mainly estimate a player by his capacity of creating and using distinguished and effective builds on underpowered classes.

For example, right now my belief is that if you jump to 5 focus blood mage, then you are not a top skilled player. You may be good, but nothing special.

Sorry if anyone feels offended, I have a problem with people imitating each other.

@Drian only problem that I can see with hating people who jump on the BM bandwagon are the people who are just switching back.. I have been a bm several times once back when they had zerk, once when they were str abusing ( i was using plasma cannon build at the time ) and then I recently switched back due to the fact I really did not want to be a cyber hunter any more. So it may I have looked like I "jumped" to the op build when I actually didn't. I do understand the point of disliking and hating on class jumpers but I do it cause I get bored not for my win ratio :/

I rate players on the triple A's of awesome Attitude, Appearance, Action ( there battling style/ skills etc )

Absolutely no admiration for builds that are pure spam in battle for attacking. Their 1 alibi is that EpicDuel is overwhelmed by attack skills.

Not sure, if everyone had the same amount of enhancements then I would look at the 2 vs 2 ratio or jugger.
I'm sure lot of non vars without any enhancements are very skilled but just cant get a high win ratio because they dont play with money.

I mostly rate someone because of his jokes or something:P

I rate them based on record, expirience, and overall activeness when recruiting. Also other players incite or referance.

My opinion of a player is how long he/she played and the total wins ans cheevos he/she earned.I also judge by the appearance and actual experience when I talk with them.

1. Personality

2. Creativity in Battle

3. Seniority of Player (As in if they were in beta, etc.)

4. Taste in clothing and equipment.
