The one skill core even says something silly about cheeseburgers. I can assure you that you'll pay far less than 975 Varium or what ever it was for the initial basic cores.

In the future as we release specialty super-unique active cores, sure we might charge more for those. But with the launch of Omega we want everyone to be able to try things out so we're going to make sure the prices are reasonable.

Interesting, informative video
Nothing I didn't already assume, however the 6k credits at the end was very nice :)

I do like the video, I just hope credit prices will go up too much because of the fact that we can farm for credits for an unlimited amount of time.

I remembered what I was going to say:

The max stat cap is (relatively-speaking) 40% per stat. This is to hinder people exploiting 1 stat. It would also seem to hinder the exploiting of 2(!) stats because instead of 50% it is 40%. I would argue that 2 stats equal in number are not as overpowered as 1 stat with 100% allocation. I would like to suggest placing up to 50% of stat points max on a single stat up from 40%.

 @void Strength and tech. Bloodlust requires tech, Smoke improves with tech and Str will get BHs back a good deal of health because they have high strength to go with their high Smoke from their high tech. I used to run a Strength tech build on merc and it was deadly despite the lack of synergy like BHs have.

In Omega, looks really are everything
Also, note that you can rearrange stats before you buy an item so you don't have to retrain it, just a nice bonus. I am glad that all the items are on a level playing field so that no items can be considered OP, but now people will constantly complain abut the skill core selection.

I would think that the problem there is a mutual problem that was allowed by not taking care of a stat-stat requirement/improvement-skill relationship.

^Anyway, in all seriousness, it doesn't appear that Omega will change too much. The best thing about Beta was that there were no enhancements, whenever there are excessive stats like this, balance will always be a problem. Prepare yourselves for an array of nerfs in the future on cores and everything, like what happened with the 'new' classes in Delta.

 So that video has shown me something that is obvious but I will still give this bit of wisdom to you guys.

Set up your stats how you think you want them before you buy the weapon it looks as though it will be cheaper that way
