I created a lvl 1 character to kick off with Omega since my build turned... Floppy.

I noticed a few things, first, any items from a shop were automatically scaled. Second, the supposed original(?)(Unusually high for a lvl 1) price was retained.

So level ones are given the option to upgrade their rather flimsy-looking starting equipment, or pay ten thousand to get more kudos in terms of item appearance.

I've a bunch of ideas for fixing it, the simplest is adjusting prices or making non-special weapons into style items- Just saying.

^ Deal with it or buy varium. Since quickening your purchases is the ONLY thing varium is good for now they probably won't change it.

I'm implying that you have to pay a high price to change item appearance.

Since it's cosmetic, it won't change gameplay, however, since it's cosmetic, why does it have to be so expensive?

That's the point of a dress-up game:

Shiny!! Need var to purchase now? I'll do it!

edit below: no - var is to speed things up - time = money. Also, there will always be some varium-only features - like my snazzy increased inventory!

I said this before i didnt see the sence in the price being the same across the board . however as willendorf said their unlikely to change it due to the fact varium is pretty worthless now . they may hope lowbs may be willing to purchase it rather then grind or just stick with their starter gear.

i agree zion but it came across as a lil harsh.

The weapon & armor prices are very well priced. The prices are reasonable actually.

The only price problem I have is with the Stat Modifier Adjustments+Retrain Price.

@theholyfighter

Analysis from a lvl 1 Bounty Hunter:

Price of "Gougers" (Lvl 1) : 950 credits or 70 varium
Price of "Wrist Claw" (Lvl 1) : 500 credits or 75 varium

Stats:

"Gougers" (Lvl 1) : Str +1 (13 Physical Damage)
"Wrist Claw" (Lvl 1) : Str +1 (13 Physical Damage)

------------------------------------------------------------------

Sidearms:

"ACP" : 1,400 Credits or 75 Varium
"Outlaw" : 350 Credits or 60 Varium

Stats for Both: 13 Physical Damage, Str +1

For "Gougers" it originally is a lvl 8 weapon costing 720 credits.

I'm aware of that.

But since weapons sold are automatically scaled, why maintain the price?

To be honest, the only time I see the price scale UP was when I used my lvl 35 to check out Valesta and Hank's shops.

Didn't see any price scaling down according to level.

I agree with this.
I'm playing on a new account i made and since i have experience it's easier to win. Then again it is also hard and the luck still kicks in a lot. Imagine a new player starting the game finding it difficult to gather up credits making it almost impossible to enjoy the game and upgrade weapons every new level. Costing thousands around level 10 to upgrade is too much and should be lowered. Items i seen around shops cost a couple thousand based on their old levels in delta. If they're going to be that expensive they should at least come with some usable stats. I remember before in other phases when i made new accounts i would be rich around after level 10 and still having good gear. Now i'm around a 2/1 win rate with gear barely having enough credits to upgrade each level. My aux is still used for having extra stats and i hardly use it, cause wasting like 3000 credits for 7 damage doesn't seem that good, which i would rather spend on weapons damage and stats that i actually use. Weapons prices and adjusting stats should scale off someones level. Right now its impossible to keep up with the upgrading every level. I've even done some missions that offer credits and weapon drops to sell to keep up with the upgrading. Thus, making it impossible to buy gear that you would like cause of the prices being overpriced.
