Let us preview how an item (weapon, armor, bike, etc.) will look on our character rather than just seeing a partial image in the store. It is more important to be able to do this in omega, because now people actually care how an item looks, as all the stats are the same.

What would be really impressive and useful is if you could take an item into a test NPC battle. This would allow for a user to see how the item is animated, which is also important.

For example, I'm wondering if the micro nuke blaster actually has an animation that looks like an explosion. However, I'm not curious enough to pay credits or varium to find out.

i was gonna make a post about this, but you beat me to it lolz

i fully support this. should they allow your current colors factor into
the preview, so much the better.

a small idea for your second idea 'testing a wep on an npc'

just have a 3 second demonstration of the weapon being used on
an npc.

Yes, I like the idea of a 3 second demonstration. I knew I couldn't be the only one who wants to be able to preview items.

Or better yet, just have the animation play in a loop until you stop it.

 Supported. I bought an item on my alt thinking it would look cool, it ended up looking terrible.

Total support, like in various threads about this subject.

Item preview on our character (with our own colors) would be awesome to see exactly what we are buying. At the moment I am actually holding back on a new look because of that.

And if in the preview shows the animations, that would be even better. Auxes, Sidearms, etc... I would like to see them in action before, to not get disappointed later.

 Supported, especially since items can be used more for stylistic purposes now, this would be really neat if it was implemented.
