have you notice the blocks lately . l don"t mind getting blocked, but some times 3 times in a row.

it is funny that a reist or def of 24 +5 blocks str. totals of 105, 99, 87, and so on down the line,

also l have seen def and reist of total of 21, block 3 times in a row , can some one try to explain the sys here why so many blocks.

l can see 1 block a game but 3 in a row seems a little much some times.

Yeah Malicious Neos, I died when the game died. (Sorry EpicDuel team, but this is just how I see it...)
I'm disappointed in the game, I was so excited, then pfft. It just crumbled and died. (And brought me along with it...)

I've just come online today to see how my old friends are going, played a few matches, but hated it.
I'm sorry EpicDuel, I might have to say goodbye. I may return once everything has been fixed up.

I'll try to stay in the community, but that's not a promise. I'm sorry guys, this is CrimsonEagle (Mr. Clean XD) signing off.
I hope at least some people can enjoy the game. Goodbye... :(

Anyone who uses 3 block-able attacks in a row, IMO deserves to get blocked 3 times in a row occasionally.


If you use constant powerful blockables, you downside is extremely bad luck sometimes like 3 blocks is a row, If they never got them then they would be OP.

I completely agree with what remorse said, to be completely honest with you, dex has lost a lot of its value because of all these unblockables around. If a player doesn't focus a lot of damage/ hope in an attack, then a block shouldn't affect them too much.

Its like this since ever. I cant accept that player with 0 dex can still block you. Same goes for 0 tech deflecting and 0 supp critting.

 Agree with Remorse. The amount of players that rage strike against my 126 dex build is amazing. Particularly since their guns are not in cooldown.

@ambien ever thought that the person just got lucky??? Get higher dex then you will block to.

Think about this...... If you block 3 times in a row you wouldn't complain if you get blocked 3 times in a row you will complain its happened to me 2 times, like neos said blocking has gone crazy.

Devs that's one thing you should fix. But I think the rest of the update is good

I got tired of blocks, so I switched to tech mage and now I just chain unblockables all day long. :)

In Jugg, you:

A) Fight people with low dex
B) Can put in Heal + Generator + to do something like this:

Gun
Aux
Heal
Gun
Generator
Aux
Gun
Heal

That's what you get for using a strength build. Especially those mercs out there. Don't like it? Use a different build. Just saying.

Blocks are horrible. They ruin the game. <-- Debating possibility.


As one of my friend quit, I will also likely be quitting. I'll see how things are after the update and then I'll decide.
Also, I never expected EpicDuel to "suck". I always felt that I would never quit EpicDuel and kept hoped I never did.
The amount of money I've used is a lot and I was hoping not to waste it.

^Just use a different style of build that risks fewer blocks. Remember blocks do have their place in preventing certain skills from being overpowered. Skills with a great return (80% extra damage) also incur a great risk (25% or so block chance). Personally, I could never used a build dependent that much on the luck of the blocks.

Hopefully in the future there will be more interesting armor cores to replace Ninja Reflexes and the problem will sort itself out.

Erm, do you think I don't know that?

I've changed builds a lot, changed classes a lot and nothing good I've found. Something good thing I found was once I played MechQuest, I was happier.

Guys.. You are taking this game very seriously.. Why not enjoy? :p
Also, Why dont you try out other builds that would stop the others.

Guys just look , for those who say 3 block in a row it just happens with BH /CH right cuz of shadow arts as its known maybe max block chance is 35% with shadow arts max level 45%

there is way to beat them , just gun , meteor , then strike , and u will probably have rage gun , and also u can use your normal build them thats what i do im mercenary and it works good and i also use genrator to get mp back for heal

versuing othere classes not CH/BH use ur normal build maxuim blocks you'll get is 1-2, there is nothing in the game that can help ur odds for not blocking your attacks they need to make core gives u 5% more hit rating or something , its not really not matter of how much str u have its ur enemies block chance , the only class that wont have any troubles is BH smoke screen can reduce the block chance cuz it reduces dex, or just use any unblockable skills like surigal strike , charinman fury , super charge , masscre, thats all i can help with its helpful if u use it and use energy weapons most who can block alot have low resistance so they take alot dmg from energy weapons, good luck people ^^.

The other day every strike and bot attacks was blocked by a Cyber Hunter without shadow arts on, that is 100% block rate while I did not block him once. Before shadow arts the Hunter class was Blocking more often than anyone else, I pointed that out when shadow arts was introduced but now it is worse whether shadow arts is on or not the Hunter Classes are able to block more often than any other class. When I increased my dex and tech to the same level as the above mentioned Player not a single block but the damage is higher critical damage happens more often with their lower support. during the whole match with the above mention player he was rude, nasty and disrespectful and with EMP he Became nastier, I did report him twice.

So when the Hunter Class was blocking more often than any other class before shadow arts why introduce a skill that increases their blocking chance?

Why help a class or classes with extra blocking chance when they have an high energy draining skill?

^You keep stating balance issues without any proof...
I'm a 5 Focus BloodMage and I have no problem at all...

Don't blocks make sense? Ofcourse ( especialy when I use the Omega Sword special, it's like a guaranteed block xD)
Still if you want people to take your issues serious, make videos about you getting blocked 100% of the time
Note the person's build and your build so we can see the dex differance etc...

Just stating ' BLOCK IS 100% ', well, chances of people taking it serious isn't as high as
when you show us numbers and proof
