 I'm pretty sure every high level player has encountered this before, particularly in delta, but there sure are quite a few lower level "beggars" who ask you to let them win. Did you do this when you were their level? What do you do when you encounter one of these players? I'm just interested in hearing what other people have done or typically do when encountering these players, so please share your experiences.

Nope I am proud to say I never did this before. As for running into them yes I ran into quite a few of these kind of beggars as well. talking about they need the money, or they are trying to win the LB and need the win. As for letting them win most of the time no unless I took pity on them.

They were everywhere in beta but I see few of them now. Of course there are the people that say "no gun" and stuff, but tha is different. It was really bad with the addition of the arcade.

God the worst beggars I've seen where the ones where they try to limit you so they can gain an easy win. Back in Delta the most begs I've seen we're for healing and of course I healed anyways and the response was the usual "noob" insult. I still get called "noob" for healing and why is that?

Win beggars I cared not for, I don't let them win so they can at least learn to play on fun terms. ;3

I remember a post like this I made before. It always happens, but then I always say a simple "no". You just need to ignore being called a noob for not letting them win or for healing etc.

I see these guys a lot, never did it myself and never will. For me, Im going into the battle with the intent to beat my opponent, not for them to surrender...
As for those guys that call "no heal" or "no______" whatever they wanna call, thats just silly. If you have a skill that increases your chance to win, use it. It's all about good strategy and a timely heal can be one of the best strategies there is.

I don't think you/we should call them beggers ... I mean they are newbies, don't be so rough on them :)

When my mercenary was around the level 25 range, I was matched up against Epig in a 1vs1. He disconnected, and I won. I don't know whether or not that was intentional.

However, beggars in PvP are really more like "people you can get easy wins off of", so I kill them. Easy win.

Well for me i see 4-5 a day when i battle and ofcourse i dont kill em' if i felt pity for them and if i dont i kill them :P
and how do i feel pity for them ?
its feels like someone on a rainy day who doesn't know how to read. ... And I think the word he's trying to say is 'please' :P.

See I don't even need to make my own answers anymore. A new level of copying has been found

But yeah. I've seen a few during the tourney, both people that want the win (Usually 'because he is in the tourney') and people that are making a point on how healing is inherently wrong.

...I don't think either of these has beaten me once. .-.

I don't think a level 29 is a newbie.

Most beggars I've encountered got a terrific w/l ratio. I usually say "no" and finish them off ASAP. I've never one this and will never do it as you should your victories, not beg for it.

In early Gamma I once run into this player who said "It's my birthday so please let me win" and I refused and won but that was the only encounter I had with a beggar. I haven't done it either and don't plan to.

When they asked me i in Delta or Gamma i would say "Do you think i buy Varium to let you win?"
But i can't say that anymore because Varium doesn't provide power anymore, except the packages.

I don't encourage free wins either... Believe in earning your self, but calling baggers, could make someone feel offended ...

Lol, whenever someone calls me a noob for healing, I simply respond "I saved the mana for it, did you?"
