Originally this was going to be split across two threads, but this should save time, even though it may be a bit more to read. Phase Cores -These are basically Core ideas for players who have supported EpicDuel during Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omega (I have a vague feeling I'm missing one. Please let me know if I am.) -Alpha Tester Cores- -Passive Core: The Alpha (Any) Passively increases your First Strike chance by 1% for every 15 Support you have. (Basically saying, you get a 3% boost in chance of First Strike at 45 Support) -Active Core: Split Decision (Weapon) Warm Up: 0 Usable once per battle. This attack is unblockable. Deals 90% Strike Damage on YOUR first turn. Damage of this skill decreases by 5% (lowest 60%) with each one of YOUR turns that pass. However, the critical strike chance of this skill increases by 2% (maximum 10%) with each one of YOUR turns that pass. -Beta Tester Cores- -Passive Core: Second Nature (Gun) Increases secondary weapon damage by 2 points. -Active Core: Reinforce (Armor) Warm Up: 4 Usable once per battle. Make yourself invincible to defense or resistance debuffs for two turns. (Yours, then your opponent's.) -Gamma Tester Cores- -Passive Core: Radiation (Armor) Has a 13% chance to poison your opponent for 5 damage 2 turns (10 total damage) whenever you take damage from a Strike-type hit. -Active Core: Gamma Ray (Gun) Warm Up: 1 Cool Down: 2 Usable twice per battle. Fire an unblockable laser beam that deals 75% strike damage and has a 10% chance to poison your opponent for 7 damage over 2 turns (14 total damage). -Delta Tester Cores- (NOTE: Different from promo items. For all testers.) -Passive Core: Erratic Flux (definition: Irregular Change) (Armor) When your HP is less than 20, Resistance and Defense increase by 2 points and your chance to hit regularly on all attacks increases by 10%. (This basically lowers the chance of any of your attacks getting Blocked or Deflected by 10%) Effect immediately wears off if the user's HP is healed above 20. -Active Core: Changeup (Primary Weapon/Auxilary Weapon) -Warm Up: 2 Usable once per battle. (I personally like this one) Perform an attack that deals no damage, but swaps the opponent's highest stat with his/her lowest stat. Can be blocked. If it is blocked, the effect does not happen. -Omega Overlord Cores- (Refer to the note beside the Delta subtitle.) -Passive Core: Finality (Primary Weapon/Armor) When the opponent's HP is lower than your Primary weapon damage, your chance to deal regular damage increases by 50%. -Active Core: Eclipse (Armor) Warm Up: 2 Duration: 2 Turns Usable once per battle. Envelope your body in a shroud of darkness. Lowers your opponent's chance to connect hits by 15% for 2 turns. (Connect meaning dealing normal damage, without a block, or deflection). Varium Contribution Cores (For those who've payed/played a lot in the past or present!) Elite Cores -Passive Core: 1337 (Armor) Critical Chance increases by 5% whenever your HP is above your opponent's, but decreases by 5% whenever it's lower. -Active Core: Pwnage (Primary Weapon/Gun/Auxilary) Warm Up: 1 Usable once per battle Deals 110% strike damage with a 20% chance to stun. Founder Cores -Passive Core: Duel Master (Any) Passively adds 1 point of damage to Primary Weapon and Gun, or 2 points of Auxilary damage if equipped to Primary/Gun or Auxilary. OR Passively adds 1 point of Resistance and Defense to your armor if equipped to armor. -Active Core: OverClock (Armor) Warm Up: 2 Usable once per battle. An unblockable laser beam that deals 60% strike damage normally. Damage type depends on Primary Weapon damage type. (Energy or Physical) Damage increases by 5% for each point of Focus you have. (85% strike damage at Level 5 Focus). This attack heals your HP for 15% of the damage done, and your EP for 10% of the damage. 2k Varium/20k Lifetime Credits -Passive Core: Hit Marker (Weapons only) Increases your chance to connect a hit by 3% 5k Varium/50k Lifetime Credits -Passive Core: Critical Judgement (Weapons only) Increases your chance to crit by 2% when HP is below your opponent's. 10k Varium/100k Lifetime Credits -Active Core: Torture (Primary Weapon) Warm Up: 3 Usable once per battle Strike for regular damage. Has a 20% chance to inflict Torture debuff, which causes the opponent to have a 15% chance to damage himself for 5% of the damage he deals on his next turn. If the attack is blocked, the entire chance of the effect occurring is negated. 25k Varium/250k Lifetime Credits -Active Core: Incomplete Speed Boost (Armor) Warm Up: 3 Usable once per battle An attack that has a 50% chance to connect (half of base chance to even hit at all) and a 15% (half of base chance) chance to stun if it does hit. 50k Varium/500k Lifetime Credits -Passive Core: Death's Advocate (Armor) Decreases opponent's Defense and Resistance by 1 point when your own HP is lower than 15. 100k Varium/1 Million Lifetime Credits -Passive Core: Varium Legend (Primary Weapon/Armor) Increases your Primary Weapon Damage and Resistance by 1 point. -Active Core: Varium Override (Any) Warm Up: 3 Usable once per battle Has a 30% chance to cancel all debuffs on your character. Otherwise stuns you. 250k Varium+/1.5 Million Lifetime Credits(Ridiculous ones, by the way.) -Active Core: Bass Cannon (Primary Weapon) Warm Up: 2 Usable once per battle. Deals 80% Strike unblockable Energy damage, powered by 100% dubstep. -Active Core: THE SPOON (Primary Weapon) Warm Up: 2 Usable once per battle. Use Titan's oversized spoon to strike your opponent for 80% Strike unblockable Physical damage. I'm willing to listen to feedback and update these. I'm not exactly the best at performing calculations, so I urge you to provide constructive criticism on how I can improve these cores, because I don't want to have specific people getting OP cores.
