The skill needs serious nerf at super high tech.
The tech abuse is way too OP.
The time has come for diminishing returns on plasma bolt - I mean 71 damage on level 1 is too out of hand and malf, reroute, assim., DM, supercharge stacks perfectly with it.
There is absolutely no downside to putting all stats on tech for a TM - that's a lack of balance. Please fix.

Oh really?

What about HP,EP, defence and support?

You will crit alot against them and block alot.

You can remove their EP and bam they're useless.

TM is already one of the weakest classes, if anything, it needs a buff.

As a TM, you are biased.
No offensive skill should improve unbounded with a defensive stat - its too OP.
You start with over 70 HP now - not a problem for extreme tank.
You barely have to train the skill to have over 80 damage - low energy cost.
You also have reroute and assimilation for energy steal/regen.
Crits aren't so common and you would get far more deflects. Also, you can use nanosteel armor.
No, you cant remove ep, they can get it right back as mentioned.
You are playing the class wrong - channel your inner caster! (for now, hopefully)

ansh0 what are you saying? What do you mean the weakest? Your wrong about that TM aren't the weakest their one of the strongest indeed. Get their EP? Lets see oh they have assimilation and reroute and I lose energy by getting their EP and oh there is a generator core how is that sounds? I support this idea a level 3 plasmabolt can deal 83 damage lol and guess what it's a 2v2 battle and the man who showed this skill laugh at me.

Oh please, I've been playing TM since the Valentine update and was constantly pummeled.

5 focus TM sucks, worst skill tree for 5 focus.

Tech is pretty much the only decent build.

My current, hyper offensive works very well but heavily reliant on my opponents not getting lucky.


On paper, it looks crazy.

In action, not so.

On an average player, an average plasma bolt from a tech abuse caster will do approx 45 damage.


You can easily heal that off.

Then you proceed to kick the TM's butt since the TM has no other way of dealing significant damage.

As soon as his Pbolt is ready, take away his energy.


BAM.

OR

Take away his EP turn 1, making him use assim, and shield right after.

Then take away his EP right before his second bolt.

Trust me, I've played caster.

It is not that strong.


How many TM's do you see in 1v1 anyways?




Isn't your post biased too?

I don't think you would make this thread if you were a TM.


Trust me, TM is only slightly stronger than merc.

Not supported...

That build is not successful as you think...

they get more like 50% ratio in 1vs1

don't ask about 2vs2 and juggernaut because that build suck in that...

I can agree with this. Thanks to the buff rabble did to it last year Plasma bolt is OP at all levels. even with the strength requirement needed to use it the bolt is still very OP. it needs to power up with every 4 tech instead of three like it used to. That will give this attack the nerf it needs to be balanced once again.

You may not see the point I am trying to bring up, but why do you think strength moves, support moves, and diminishing stats came back? Because of the moves that used these were too powerful and packing too much of a punch. People complained it showed on the balance checker and it was nerfed. Why Rabble won't chance the scaling to 4 tech instead is beyond me.

Of all the moves in offensive moves in the game plasma bolt is the only one that scales with 3 of a stat while the others scale with 4 or more. Even if I was to have 40+ resistance (which is a tank build) I wouldn't have decent protection against this move because of the way it scales.

Are you sure you're facing TMs? It'd be on par with Overload and Multi (1v1) and give 2 Caster choices - Dex or Tech - without much loss in power, especially with defences being equal for both stats. If they take away the buff it's received last year (+8 damage IIRC), it'd be good enough. You can abuse the skill at lower level (player and skill alike). Many casters abuse Tech and keep Bolt at Lvl 5 since it already deals a bit over 70 damage. Mind you, I was a TM prior to Omega (November) and before that, mainly TM since Beta. Biased? I think not.

lol, I definently agree with this. Tanking is too easy with complete control of mana and an OP plasma. Assimilate+ technician+ plasma bolt+ high dex and tech= Ultimate tank (my build).

Plasma definently needs a Nerf.

Also the only viable build for TMs these days are casters or tanks. It is pretty boring to only have 2 viable build options.

I'l be honest with this. Plasma bolt is op because it deals high damage with a low energy. Try to see it in lvl 1 with tech abuse. Plus tm has a skill that improves tech which I think it is fine.Ether the scaling must be remove to something higher or it should require more energy. So supported.
