It depends on the sitch.

If it is for an event with PVP drops like now 1 vs 1 since the fights are usually quicker

for overall fun 2 vs 2 since it is fun since I have to think more and for some reason I just like being a wingman (something you can't get in 1 vs 1 or Juggernaut unless you aren't the jug)

2vs2 is the reason I play this game since beta.
4 minds team up for the long but glorious victory.

I hate 1vs1, luck + op build + first turn has a bigger impact.

For Epic you shouldn't look forward to beating level 30's you're being extremely selfish wanting to keep these "free wins" Fix the pairing to 3 levels for 1v1. It's out of hand.

2v2 is more fair at times.
1v1 is more fun but more annoying.

I usually move towards 1v1.

1v1 is fun because its just you and the other person, but battles are often way too fast. *coughSuppStrTMscough*
I love the concept of jugg, but it gets frustrating when you keep losing to the same builds.

Overall 2v2 is my fav, because you get a longer battle where strategy is more important than in the other modes because theres so many people. You get the best conversations in 2v2 also.
The only bad things about 2v2 are the partners that leave, skip their turn, or are just terrible at playing this game. :3

2vs2 is alot more fun

but 1v1 is more competitive.

I'd rather 2v2

2v2 can be fun but frustrating. 1v1 is good for gauging your own skill level compared to others, and jugg is something I like to do when I get bored of both. Overall, my priorities would be 1v1, 2v2, then jugg.

1v1 is good for gauging your own skill level??? 1v1 is about who abuses stats more. that, and who uses
the azrael ranged weps.

2v2 is a much better way to test your skills. if your partner deals some damage and then gets killed,
but you still win against the enemy, you have a fairly good build. you also have to know when to use
what move. your partner needs a heal, but you can kill an enemy, but if you do your partner will
die as well. you have to see a few moves ahead a lot of times.
sure, you can get a low level partner against two level caps, but you just have to think about what
you are going to do a bit more thoroughly. you can win, but your partner has to know what he/ she
should do.

jugg is frustrating IMO, because they can have a lot more heals than you. a lot of us remember when
the jugg was the boss and the enemies were out of luck. now the tide has turned, and the enemies of
the jugg are the boss, and the jugg is out of luck.

i would say, my number one choice would be 2v2.

@Renegade Reaper: I entirely disagree with that. 2v2 is extremely luck-based and lots of builds which would not normally function in 1v1 could with the benefits of having an ally support you with healing and meatshielding. It'll just end up to be whoever's ally works best with their build and play style will probably win.

If you have enough skill, it shouldn't be difficult to counter azrael's will, especially if you predict it 2-3 turns in advance. Stat abuse builds also have extremely obvious weaknesses which can be exploited easily by almost any build, unless the build is composed poorly.

Also, I wouldn't say a build decides a player's skill, but rather the way the player uses the build. This is why I disagree with the constant suggestions of hiding a player's build.

^Not true, my build works fine at all modes and I'm a CH without massacre. I could.also use my massacre build to quickly win 2v2 matches at the cost of getting emp'ed all the time.

Any battle mode where I don't get frustrating losses is fine to me.
