I had this idea which could help out several problems in PvP, such as being paired with a bad partner, Facing really powerful opponents, not having gear etc. Please read entire post as I have mentioned some common problems+solutions at the end
PvP Ranking -
1vs1
All players will have a PvP ranking from level 10 onwards. You will face an opponent +/- 300 or so of your rank (Up to 5 level difference)
Your Rank Is determined by several factors -
1)Your overall 1vs1 PvP W/L Ratio.
2)Your currently equipped gear (Points for gear based on whether are upgraded and have locked/inventory/no cores)
3)First strike works as it is.
2vs2
Ranking Same as 1vs1(Tho 2vs2 W/L is considered)
When 4 people join, teams are determined by -
The four player's rankings are kept in descending order, 1st with last and 2nd with 3rd. (Total Difference in ranking will not be more than 500)
The 3rd ranked Player Always starts first.
Juggernaut
Ranking same as 2vs2 (Tho Juggernaut W/L is considered)
Sum of Low Level Players > Juggernaut by around 700-1000 Rating Points
If Difference in rating between 700 - 850 then Low Level Lowest Ranked player starts first, Else The juggernaut starts first
Problem -
ED does not have a big enough player base to cater to this ranking system SO -
1)Based On differences in ranking (Where Ranking difference is more , the lower ranked player will receive an Offensive OR Defensive buff (Offensive = Primary,Secondary,Auxiliary Defensive= Defense + Resistance.)
Overall, I think this will make the game more playable for no brainers and more interesting for people will really good builds.
