It should give some energy back everytime you use rage

supported. not a huge boost, and not extremely predictable either, but the whimsiness makes it applicable.
maybe 15-30%?

Or you could lower the Rage regen for the enemy by exactly the same amount. So at Lvl 10, you'd get rage 25% faster and your enemy would get it 25% slower. In 2v2, it'd be split between the two enemies (for 12.5%), unless there's 2 Mercs with Adrenaline then '=(Total/2)', i.e. 25% and 15% = 40%, divide by 2 and you get 20% thus enemy gets their rage slower by 20%.

both good ideeas but i'd go with Trans.

What if :
in PVP you get trans ideea
in PVE you get edwardvulture ideea ?

Oh right, there's PvE. But would it matter? NPCs have Rage disabled for sake of not being too difficult, so it'd render the ability of lowering Rage useless against NPCs. But game is PvP in the first place so you'd be at a drawback only against NPCs. Quite doubt that it's possible to code skills to have different effects in PvP and PvE alike.

I do understand where you're coming from though, it's a valid point that I haven't thought of when I suggested this ability (which dates moooooooonths back XD).

yeah she said your idea in pvp, and against npc's, you just regain energy on rage instead.
i agree with both of those ideas.

well, in pvp gaining energy when you have rage may get complains from other players that it would be OP (thinking about an artilery strike rage)so i think spliting the 2 ideeas in PVP and PVE, maybe the first skill of its kind that affect the NPC different?

And have anyone of you tought about numbers? you get energy when rage but on what depends? rage itself or rage damage?

I made this suggestion cause its really hard for the merc class in general to beat NPC's, especially if you don't have cores.

I like trans's idea. Regardless of it or not adrenaline needs a buff, supported.

I think adrenaline shouldn't be buffed or nerfed i feel its far to effective for some builds and gos the opposite way for others i think it needs removing.

the best way 2 kill ALL npc its a tanky build whit healing loop and merc can do it pretty well ( u just need to heal 2-3 times )

Unique idea, but I'm not sure if I'd support or not. Adrenaline does have some applications which can help more than passives like shadow arts, but you'd have to know the class well in order to utilize adrenaline this way.

or you could make it an active skill to replace something else, wich a 3 turn cooldown. free of energy cost, and you can steal rage. you drain 25% of enemy's rage, and regain 5% of that into you own, added to the damage you do. the more rage they have, the more they lose, the more you gain.

I can see that being abused with max adrenaline, surgical strike, and platinum pride to make an anti rage build against opponents.

it would replace adrenialine, but yes i can see the anti rage abuse.. which make it worthwhile against support TM and CB etc

@edwardvulture: Oh god, not a skill core. That would just show how broken the skill core system is, by giving all classes a skill which can reduce rage, and that's available to everyone. It's already bad enough with platinum's pride, and not that many people use that. A class-specific skill that deals damage and remove a small % of rage would be very neat, though.

If you give adrenaline rage reduction, anti rage builds will run rampant. Whether or not it would be overpowered I can't tell you, but I can hear the complaining already.

The energy regain on rage idea only helps support mercs who can rage on three turns. People won't use any other builds than high support/level 10 adrenaline build. And that's a shame because the merc has too many great skills to limit it to one build. I think the Mercenary class would be completely fixed simply by replacing Adrenaline with some other type of energy regain skill. Maybe half to a third of what the TLM can regain.

Mercenaries cannot have HP/EP regen unless you take out HA or Intimidate. Classes cannot have 3 of these skills: passive EP or HP regen, debuff and passive Armor. Each class is allowed to have 2 of those, therefore it's impossible unless you take one of them out.
