  • When you attack using the weapon, there is a [# of hits that connected] / [# of hits attempted]*22.45% chance of attempting to make the monster Bleed*. The level of the Bleed is 54, dealing 6-36 damage each turn. The monster can resist** this with a save:
      Level: 54 vs MonsterLevel
      Major: YourSTR vs MonsterEND
      Minor: YourLUK vs MonsterLUK
    **In addition to monsters with Bleeding Immunity***, monster categories "undead", "golem", "robot", "ooze", and "xyfrag" are immune† to this effect.

  • If the monster is already Bleeding, the weapon will do 105% damage†† instead and won't attempt to make the monster Bleed.
  • If you also have Bloodthorn Shield equipped, then the above effects are doubled: the chance of attempting to make the monster Bleed††† is [# of hits that connected] / [# of hits attempted]*44.5%, and the weapon will do 110% damage‡ against Bleeding monsters.

    *The sharp thorns of your blade open a bleeding wound!
