I checked the forum rules and I did not see against it and I haven't seen this suggestion in a while so I thought I'd bring it up.
I feel we should be able to change faction names for a fee of around 150 varium or 7500 credits. Agree? Disagree? Why? Why not?

A while back our faction name was changed by the devs because it was offensive and we had to pick a new one. Ask a dev, but i doubt they will do it because there isnt a reason TO do it.

Also those price's are too low .

You would be looking at like 1,500 varium or like 40,000 -60,000 credits.

Woah woah woah Bloodpact. I just took the amount it takes to create the guild and then cut them in half. That's cra-cra expensive man.

Bra u know how much it cost to create a character with any name?

0 credits 0 varium

Now lets take the number to change it's name 1,450 varium.

See where I'm going with this bout the irrelevance of the guild
creating cost?

Could also use character class change as an example if you want. :/

Bra I feel you. I was just having wishful thinking I suppose. I've changed classes and names several times I know the costs.

this would be good if there was a faction page (like a char page but for factions) so it lists how many names the faction had and people dont confuse factions.

I feel ya, i've changed class countless times, but this is how
they do there pricing, just giving realistic numbers :P.

@Goldslayer1 well you could always look at your faction in-game and see the members still in it but yeah I get your point.
Maybe next time you relog you get a notification on your screen telling you that your faction's name has been changed? Or maybe a message through the mail system that your faction's name has been changed.

faction updates are wishful thinking but we haven't gotten a co-leader/faction founder step down feature yet, since beta. i doubt they will expand on this.

leader step down wont ever happen, the co-leader may appear though yet. they did mention consideration, but no reason not to.

@Toopygoo while I can see the complications of the leader system, I can not see any exploitation of the name changing suggestion besides the fact some guilds may be changed to troll others. It would be just another way to make money in my eyes since most people would change the name with varium. I know I would.
