Terms: -Does not count towards win/loss record -Winning grants you 1/3 normal credits and exp -Losing grants you nothing -Wins/losses do not count towards leaderboard wins or percent -Wins/losses do not count towards most achievements Reason: -Would promote less tension/a kinder communuty -Would promote build diversity -The game is too competitive as it is, and is lacking an aspect it used to have: fun. What this would do: -Allow players to use builds/test builds that they normal would not use or test -Allow players to play without having to worry about their win ratio/win rate -Puts a bandaid fix on the game, as the developers try and work out its many issues -Would appeal to many players (such as myself) who are inactive/not playing due to the poor balance, and lack of fun Issues: a) "There would be an increase in wait time for each match" b) "Just challenge someone if you want to test a build" Solutions: a) -Dedicate this game mode specifically to one server (e.g. Sparring would be available for 1v1, 2v2, and Jugg on Exile only, and normal 1v1, 2v2, and Jugg would be disabled on said server) -Increase server capacity b) -The point of this gamemode is to provide a space for people to play less competitively than in normal 1v1, 2v2, and Jugg -Challenging someone implies that you want to win...that is no longer the sole purpose of the game with this mode. Sparring would be available for 1v1, 2v2, and Jugg... Ideally it could be enabled by checking a box in your settings, and then using the normal buttons to find a match. Lets get some feedback.
