I like the direction the epicduel storyline is taking, but here's my idea for a new area that could be somehow worked into the current storyline. The BlackRock Mountains The BlackRock Mountains is some of the most barren territory on Delta V, and have remained unchanged for generations as each new wave of conquerors overlooked the expansive mountain range, despite its ideal location. To add to generally dismal aura of the mountains, they are occupied by ferocious predators, some of which provided the original DNA for crafting the Hazards that now occupy the Biological Preserve and Frysteland. But Baelius saw potential for the mountains, for they are virtually unassailable despite the fact that it is impossible to build a fortress of any size atop them. Baelius decided to house the most dangerous prisoners in all of Delta V in the prison, prisoners so dangerous that they would never be released and some would die every day. It was in here that he placed his original investors, when he first came to Delta V. The guards were handpicked to be unnecessarily cruel, and the conditions were unlivable, with prisoners frequently tortured both on command and for the sick enjoyment of their captors. However, one of Baelius's new projects depleted the prison of many of its inmates, leaving but a handful of guards and inmates as the inmates were used to make what was later stored in the Delta Vaults. Those who remained were left completely unaffected by the Exile-Legion War to follow until the Caden's banishment of the combatants, upon which point they found themselves alone, with noone to follow. The prisoners and guards, who morally were not that different at all, soon became one colony of savage warrior peoples surviving the harshness of the mountains. Now, recent events in the Infernal Mines and the Black Abyss have opened the once completely impassable mountains to the outside world. Now free of their prison, this generation of murderers and gaolers now seeks to conquer those who abandoned them in the prison, Legion and Exile, using survival skills learned in one of the harshest areas on Delta V and an army of enslaved pre-Hazard creatures while simultaneously concealing the secret they found in the mountains from the world.
