 After logging onto my herosmash character earlier i noticed they had badges where i could click an exclusive shop and buy more things from the alpha phase since my character is a alpha player.

I then thought what if epicduel had something some what simular to this, for example.

If you played in the beta phase you would have beta achevo underneath the beta achevo there is an exclusive shop showing all the rares that was released during the beta phase and you could buy them but not for cheap.

And same with the other achevos that are based on a phase in the game such as alpha/beta/gamma/delta/omega.

Not supported.

If they did this then it wouldn't be fair to anyone who got said cheevo on time when the cheevo was available.

 i didn't mean get the achevo :o, i meant that if you had that achevo you then had a shop exclusive for having that achevo that would allow you to go back and get a rare you may have missed, so since im gamma player i could go to gamma shop and get a rare weapon from gamma time at a price ofcourse, but since im only gamma i wouldn't be able to go to a shop from beta or alpha :) hope this explains abit more

Still not supported for the same reason.

It would also devalue rare promo's since player who played in that phase would be able to get items that were never suppose to be coming back just because they have the cheevo from that phase.

 that was the general idea, i thought it would be a good idea since others like myself may have missed some of them rares due to something serious in personal life, this way they could get what they happened to miss because of the absence to game.

i can see your point which then maybe another implement to this could be suggested which is somewhat of a token system and basically each player has 1 token to begin with and you would need 1 token and x amount of varium or credits to buy one of these extreme rares.

then i would suggest that you cannot gain another token but that would be abit pointless then there would be shops that can only be used once so then we could say what if u gain 1 other token each time you have purchased an accumulated amount of varium being 50k

that token system would lower the chance of decreasing a items rarity by alot since 1 item of a total how many epic rares?

and the varium thing is so that the varium epic rares still stay varium

Why? Why is that not fair for us? If they were there at the time then why shouldn't they be able to get an achievement to prove it? Where is your logic? It doesnt devalue said achievement.


@OP

The reason why this is weird is as follows, Say you joined the last day of Beta and grabbed a beta badge. Could you open up the shop and buy things from before you played?

That's my issue with it.

 thats a good point didn't think that entirely through in that case then it would also need to be done through dates on which the character was created.

All the old rare cheevos were even brought with varium, (year of the dragon, Elite, Founder Etc) or gotten viva rare mission.

If those cheevos came into an exclusive shop as long as said person had the (insert X phase cheevo here) anyone who actually did those missions on time, or paid money and got said cheevo for a reward would get what they got on time devalued.

However he isn't talking about old cheevos he is talking about old rare items from said phase.

Like say if I had the beta tester cheevo, there would be an exclusive shop where I could get the beta promo items, frostbane (correct me if I am wrong about the frostbane coming in beta) and every other rare that came within that phase as long as I had the beta tester cheevo.

 thats the general idea mother1, and im not entirely sure about frostbane coming in beta unless it returned in gamma because it came promo around 1 month after i started and that was in gamma.

the frost bane did return to the game the year after IIRC.

Promotional items should not make a return, as their value is in both rarity and cost. Sure, they could let you buy them with varium from a Founder/Beta/Gamma/Delta shop, but it would defeat the purpose of rare items.
