"We have never lost a war against a Chaos Lord before... how is this even possible?" The words echoed throughout the realm, many speaking of what happened in Willowcreek, rumors spreading around that the war on chaos was already over, the alliance finding themselves completely outmatched.
Listening in on a conversation, hidden amongst the shadows there was a dark chuckle. "That is because you are fighting the one who defeated all of the others, I've proven myself far more powerful than them, the chaotic power now only making me all the stronger. You act as if you ever stood a chance." The thirteenth lord of chaos speaks to himself, a grin on his face.
"Sir Render... a single battle does not determine the outcome of a war. We MUST defeat chaos's army before it reaches Battleon!" Ahh, the paladin, Artix. Finally speaking up, trying to keep the war effort going. It's too bad the war has already been lost for them. Chaos has limitless power, they will all fall by the end of this war, if it could even be considered a war. More like squashing a bug under your boot. The outcome was already determined, chaos will prevail.
"Yes sir! All Alliance forces should be on the lookout or any clue as to where the 13th Lord of Chaos will attack next!" As if that will help. They make think they are a step ahead, but in reality they will always be two steps behind... These fools will never know what hit them.
Fading back into the shadows the chaos lord chuckles again. "Prepare your forces that they may taste my blade alliance, a new age is to be ushered in. An age of chaos."
